I just loaded up a new VM, retiring an old one and wanted to transfer my licence over to the new VM. I've done this process several times with no problem. I've maintained the number of licences I've had, buying new subs when necessary, but relying on my old lifetime licences on essential machines. But this time entering the licence I no longer have the option to enter my old lifetime licence (with the old XXXX-XXXX:XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format). It asks for a Licence key or an MB Code, but is not letting me enter my old licence using the old format. This is a LIFETIME licence and effectively it's been rescinded. Why? Or can I at least download the old MB4 so I can load it one my new VM?

Actually it looks like I don't have Heuristics turned off? I have the "Use expert system algorithms" setting turned off.

My regular scans has picked up something called "Malware.Sandbox.23" on one of my Windows VMs. I've quarantined the files and cut off network traffic from that VM, but can someone give me more information on this. Google doesn't seem to tell me much.

I've been getting "positive detection" (probably false positives" just about every second day. They've mostly been setup files for installations, but it has been worrisome. I've been thinking I've got something lurking in the background, though the scans come up clean, except for the things that are found and quarantined. I've turned off this setting now. -
I installed the new beta before going to bed last night and woke up with hte connection still running. YAY!!!! The only BSOD I had was when I was rebooting the PC (a driver issue?) and that seems to have stopped as well.

I've tried reinstalling MWB just so I can get the information youy require and I keep getting an enigmatic "An error occured" dialog after getting about 10% into the progress bar. This happened even after a reboot.

OMG! I'm glad I'm not the only one. This only started happening over hte last few days. I've spent my entire weekend rebuilding and resetting my VM (fresh installs of all software each time) and the thing I've finally narrowed it down to is Malwarebytes. If it's not installed, everything runs. No more disconnecting from the network. I haven't tried installing MWB and just turning off Web Protection. That could be the next step, but it's late now. I'll try it tomorrow.

Exactly as I described. I go to custom scan and I can't select the drives. I click on them and they won't select. They don't appear to be disabled, but the checkbox won't appear when I click on them. -
I'm trying to do a custom scan on my laptop and I can't select any drives. It works fine on my desktop though.
