  1. It appears the repair installation has cleared the file permission issue jumped the gun on this one MBAM is scanning and KILLING.
  2. I've found a new piece of malware that has been a real pain in the you know what. Any exe I attempt to run I get a file permission error that states you do not have administrative privileges to run this file. Even if I attempt to get into the control panel, run mbam, or HJT. I can get into the management console and the user I'm logged in as does have administrative rights to the PC. I was able to scan for threats on a suspicious file with McAfee and it returned generic DX! DXX. McAfee has little information on this file since it appears to be a fairly new threat. As a last ditch effort to get around the file permission issue I'm attempting to repair the installation of Windows. Running out of ideas on this one any suggestions?
