  1. I have alternate protection on this PC including Zemana AM & AppGuard along with Panda AV, I've kept version 2.x on my other PC as I don't have the time to uninstall & reinstall then go back to the previous version so hanging on with that one until at least the next release. I do realise these things happen as I've done a fair amount of beta testing though mainly in the past. So i'll leave it not starting with Windows until the next patch is out. (Hope Malwarebytes don't buy AUDI out) :-) :-)
  2. I get the pop-up on every reboot, although technically this is my PC quite a few others use it when I'm out or not around & having a large pop-up telling the user protection is off is less than ideal.. If others are happy with that happening that's good, to be honest I'm not & for the foreseeable future Malwarebytes will remain disabled, how long it will take before a fix only the Lord knows & he's not telling. Longer & more through beta testing I think is needed, but what do I know?
  3. Installed tonight's update & noticed I still get the pop-up, looking at the full change-log it says some systems could still have the issue or words to that effect & they are looking at a longer term fix - Frankly my hopes were not high anyway but for me nothing has changed - My system boots to full usage in about 15 seconds but SSD's are not exactly new, so Malwarebytes is still on do not start with Windows for the foreseeable future as IMHO if I can't have update every hour functioning I'll continue to use something else. Spent several hours faffing around with Malwarebytes & it's still not right (doh)
  4. Exactly same problem as other in this thread & running a SanDisk SSD, tried the workaround of 1 day updates to no avail but frankly updating once a day does not inspire any sort of confidence in protection anyway. I'm quite surprised that this issue is still around after the 'final' was released as I remember on the 8th. What has gone wrong Malwarebytes you really are losing the plot from a few years ago. Reverted to Zemana, at least for the time being, maybe forever as I've just bought a licence, that checks problems in real time not many hours ago with the ridiculous workaround above - Sorry but that's how I feel.
  5. Thank you: I've found a spare licence as I've used Mbam since around the beginning & I read elsewhere support are very busy so if it should get sorted I'll still have a spare licence as I don't have as many PC's around as I did years back - I was just surprised how many of these Lifetime Licence sellers are on Ebay & how many one of them has sold, it's hard to understand how they dare sell what are 'probably' generated keys so publicly?
  6. My genuine lifetime key was blacklisted today (still got the original card somewhere) I think because I've had (many) issues with Windows 10 & esp. with updates not installing among other things :-) - After trying many, many fixes from the Windows Ten forums etc. I finally fixed the problem(s) but not before I'd restored a full 'Reflect Image' a dozen times or maybe quite a few more over the last month, anyway I've contacted support & hopefully they can reset it, if not I have had my moneys worth over the years. But my point is: I was looking on Ebay UK today & just out of interest I saw a few sites selling Mbam Lifetime licenses for £8.00 or so - Not wishing to accuse anyone but surely these have to be none genuine & probably keys generated by the Ebayer? - By the looks of it quite a few had been sold, does Malwarebytes take an active role in closing these sites down & even prosecuting the people concerned? As there are quite a few probably about half a dozen & the low cost should make a person wonder but some people will be buying them in total ignorance.
  7. Hello: I recently installed (yesterday) Trend AV & was prompted on install to uninstall Mbam Pro as it was a conflicting program which I did - I was able however from looking on forums to see that by adding Trend as an exception to Mbam & vice versa I could get them running together which they do seemigly without issues . However one of the recommendations was to add the entire Malwarebytes folder to Trends exceptions (which I've done) but it also mentioned adding 'mbam.sys' which supposedly is in System32/drivers however on this PC & my other PC it isn't maybe because things have changed? My question is does mbam.sys still exist & if not is there any other parts of Malwarebytes that I need to add to Trends exceptions? - Reason for using Trend is I got licences very cheap & actually pretty impressed with it as much as ESET i used previously. Sorry for rambling :-)
  8. @KY331 - Thanks for the link - Makes sense actually, again thanks
  9. Since I updated to version 1.06.1.1018 Premium, the logs tab is always empty - If the new ‘show notification traybar tooltips' is checked when any shielded application is used this does pop-up that it is indeed shielded & when using the ‘calculator’ tester' it does show that Anti-Exploit works OK, but I'm just wondering why no logs appear at all & the tab is always blank, when using the previous version logging was shown. I've completely uninstalled & reinstalled the program to no avail - Any ideas?
