Not very pleased with the new edition. It cost me hours to figure out why my computer was locking up on boot up, because the installation of the new version went through fine, however on rebooting it locked up the computer before it allows you to see the desktop. After much frustration, I realized it was the autoprotection of Malwarebytes, because it installed the paid trial version, even though I told it that I didn't want the trial version. Uninstalled and ran mbam-clean. Reinstalled. Made sure I unselected the trial version. Same thing. it installed the trial. It will boot if I tell it to delay for 120 seconds, but still goes to the trial version when I only want the free version. You need a simpler way to opt out of the trial.
