  1. I guess I have swallowed the advertising of the anti malware and anti. Virus software companies for too long and need to vent. I used many of their products and felt safe from the cretins who produce these things but in reality they are so outclassed by the bad guys that it makes their claims of providing safety are a joke. Its time for them to be honest and tell the world that they cant really provide any security against malware. Further I really get irritated when I see Malware Bytes offering a premium product to get even better protection. Shame on you for not improving your main product with this technology and perhaps offering a product that comes closer to what they claim they can do in reality. Its time for you to step up and do what you have been claiming you do for so long
  2. This is posted from my phone as malware has disabled my networking wired and wireless. MB finds nothing but something is disabling my networking and firewall. it selectively prevents my MB. and Webroot from starting. my settings get changed and it moves my place in documents I work on. I get a message saying wifi does not work because a service notification service is disabled or missing.
  3. Does MB scan video files? I tried submitting these files for scanning. nothing was found but I suspect my infections are coming from these files as I dont. download much from non video sites. I have heard that malware can hide in video files
  4. After running chkdsk my internet connection is malfunctioning. It requires a shutdown and reboot then it works for ten minutes and then it stops working. Other devices in the house have no problem. The internet icon on the bottom right shows I am connected even after the connection is dead.. I had no problem with the connection before running chkdsk. The PC is still slow..
  5. Hello. I have copied and pasted the Wininit information. Just before I ran chkdsk I had a problem just like before we began working on this. Programs crashed, I couldnt get my mouse to click successfully as I tried to close programs. Also the icons at the bottom right where it would show that my antivirus and Malwarebytes were loaded dissapeared. After running chkdsk and rebooting they have reappeared.
