  1. DNS unlocker hijacks certain webpages in Opera browser. I must have accidentally downloaded it with an app, but how to tell which one? How to delete?

  5. Actually my three browsers start with the omniboxes page. Shall I reinstall all three?
  6. better. When I click on firefox icon, firefox still launches omniboxes page.

  10. Hello, I've got an omniboxes infection. My browser speed is slow, and there are frequent pop-ups I've tried erasing the end of: [browser icon] > properties > target. Also, deleted: firefox > add-ons > extensions> [suspicious ext]. I use firefox but all my browsers are affected. I've gone to regedit. downloaded malwarebytes, ran scan, quarantined suspicious files, then deleted them. gone to about:config, searched omniboxes and changed something. still getting browser hijacks.
