  1. Hello all, I recently had a malware found (keyloger I think) on my computer. How can I be sure that nothing is left of the malware and that everything is functioning as it should? -JB-
  2. ok got it The restore operation completed successfully. The component store corruption was repaired. The operation completed successfully.

  4. Ok here are all of the reports. I just had one concern, but I think it was probably part of the virus problem I was having. I experienced a BSOD crash labeled Critical Process Died. It happened twice shortly before I contacted you, this is what tipped me off that I may have a virus. Is this most likely related to the virus, or should I run a system file scan?   5. Something wonky is going on. I click on the FRST program, it opens, then immediately closes. I try to download it again, and the browser immediately closes. It is almost like the virus knows I wanna kill it and it is not allowing me to download anything to help. Any ideas?
  6. I noticed that my computer was running very slow and I opened the task manager. Found out that svchost.exe was eating over 50% of my cpu.   8. Just after an update, my computer started exhibiting the bsod shortly after startup. Now I am getting various bsods at various times. I know the mem is good, and the disk is free of errors. The only thing that I can think of is that it is a virus. Can you help?
  9. Sorry for not getting back sooner..... holidays, and all. Everything seems to be working good now.
