  1. Had the exact same issue, and I can confirm it is in fact remote desktop causing it. I had port 3389 port forwarded in my unifi controller and as soon as I disabled it the incoming malwarebytes messages went away. Interestingly enough, I have another server running with remote desktop on the same lan but using RDP port 3390 instead of the default 3389. It is also port forwarded in my unifi controller and has malwareybytes running on that server as well and has not had a single alert from malwarebytes. To fix your issue, just change the remote desktop port in windows. For windows 10, its under remote desktop settings, advanced. For windows 7, you will have to search for the 3389 port in the registry and change it. Then change your port forward rule in your router to match whatever you change it to and you will be all set. -Geoff
