  5. First scan took quite a while, here are the two logs! log.txt checkup.txt
  6. Everything appears to be working normally again! Tested CS:GO and it was back to ~60 FPS average. Thank you so much! Can I ask what the issue was/how I can avoid it occurring again? I'm guessing it ended up being something rather simple. Thank you so much again!
  7. Main issue is general performance - browser pages (internet or otherwise) take a long time to load, the screen can freeze momentarily/causes programs to crash more easily, games are mostly unplayable with how slowly they run even on lowest settings and things like my LaTeX editor and MatLab take a long time to load and generate what I am making. Sorry can't be more specific. :/ Hard to describe beyond that- basically everything is very slow and laggy compared to normal. I've attached the log - hope I did it correctly though because it generated instantly? Thank you again! Fixlog.txt
  8. That's a relief! A bit strange though. Sorry for my late reply have been away for the weekend. Have attached the new logs. Thank you again so much! FRST3.txt Addition3.txt
  9. All good! And got the results, took a few tries but running it in safe mode seemed to help. gmer.log
  10. No luck with how the computer has been running yet it seems (still get ~10 fps on CS:GO when I was getting ~50 before from memory) and most actions tend to be sluggish still. Have attached the log for the last scan, thanks again! Let me know if I can provide you with anything else. zoek-results2.txt
  11. Have attached the log again, thank you again for your help! zoek-results.txt
  12. Sorry for the delay! Have followed your instructions and attached the relevant two logs! AdwCleanerS0.txt JRT.txt
  13. I've attached the two new logs - thank you very much! FRST2.txt Addition2.txt
  14. Here are the two logs I got - it appears they were too long to post. Also I have uninstalled utorrent since and run malwarebytes though nothing showed up. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  15. Hi, I suspect I've got some sort of malware or infection on my laptop which has been persistent on and off over the past year (I've reinstalled/wiped the system sometimes which seemed to fix it but came back either from restoring to a backup or possibly from torrenting?) I'm not sure what the issue is or if it is a virus but it has been causing my computer to slow up majorly. I suspect it is a virus as my computer has been working fine for at least a fortnight but tonight after installing utorrent for the first time the issue reappeared. The file i was downloading seemed to be fine, but I noticed a possibly dodgy file from around the time I first noticed the problem was still there so have a feeling that may be the cause of the problem. Will post the logs in the following two posts - thank you for your help!
