  1. I need to do a system rollback/restore on my Windows 10 computer. How do I inactivate Malwarebytes temporarily while doing that?
  2. Thank you bdubrow! Did what you suggested when it comes to F-Secure and voilà, problem solved.
  3. Done...and with the same result when it comes to the desktop shortcut (the error message). Any ideas as to why this is happening and what can be done about it?
  4. Done...with the same result when it comes to the desktop shortcut (the errror message).
  5. I have done the uninstall and reinstall according to the advice above. The program seems to be running ok. However, when I try to use the desktop shortcut provided to go to the program I get an error message saying "Unable to start. Unable to connect the Service". Same thing if I go to the file location and click on mbam.exe, I get the error message. I am attaching the 4 requested logs. mbae-protector.zip FRST_02-03-2017 18.55.33.txt Addition_02-03-2017 18.55.33.txt MB-CheckResult.txt
  6. I am having problems (like many others) with Component package version: 1.0.75. Have read here that they a few hours ago pushed a new component version that would fix the "new" problems. I have to completely clean all the old stuff and reinstall the latest version of MB. I have used the removal tool. Does anyone have the link to the latest version of MB 3.0? The one I get on MB´s website is the "old" one 1.0.75.
  7. When I try to install the new Component package version: 1.0.75 I get an error message half way through saying:(C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbae64.sys) "An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed: code 5. Access is denied." What has gone wrong and what can I do about it?
  8. Should one always uninstall the current version before installing a newer one? And how do I deactivate and back up my licence?
  9. I feel the same! I can´t have MB 3.0.6 on my computer any longer. It has caused my computer to be extremely slow and almost completely non-responsive. I couldn´t even use the normal logout/shut down last night . Nothing I touched was responsive any more and everything seemed to fall to pieces. I read up on this issue in a couple of forums (this being one of them) and understood that the only thing to do is to disable/uninstall MB. So...I started by disabling it and lo and behold ... things on my computer went back to normal! This proves that there is something really wrong with this version and I cannot for my life understand that MB doesn´t do anything to correct the flaws/bugs or whatever it is that is causing so much trouble for so many people paying for this Premium version.
  10. We are also having this same problem on our 2 computers. Went through the ordeal with uninstalling (in Safe Mode!) then reinstalling/configuring the whole thing again, and then when we turn on our computers this morning we get the same old error message that this thread is all about. We pay for the Premium version, and this is what we get...a nonworking product.
