  1. Here's one I can't figure out. Was having trouble with my computer, so decided to run a scan. Looked and couldn't find my shortcut, Hmmmm. So I opened Explorer and looked. Couldn't find it. HMMMMmmm. So I did a search. NOTHING came up. NOTHING. I looked around manually and found two folders one inside the other. In the second, there was one DLL file. Ok, I got it back easy enough. Just went to the site, redownloaded it, plugged my numbers in, and did a scan. But has anyone ever heard of that? The entire MWB program just totally disappearing? Like it had been removed?
  2. Valinorum, Thank you for your reply. As of this morning, the outgoing attempts are not showing up. Or, at least I am not getting the MWB alert. Yesterday, Skype wanted to do an update. I was busy on it, so clicked the "remind me later" button. Last night, I clicked the Update button and let Skype do the update, then went to bed. This morning, the alerts have stopped. So I am kind of guessing that the alerts might have been related to the Skype update. MWB has helped me twice before with issues I couldn't resolve. Both times we were (YOU were) successful. I am a premium member for that reason. I have always been VERY happy with MWB and the help offered. I recommend MWB to others every chance I get Thank you for offering to help me. At this time I am going to call this resolved. Thanks again, Walt Brown
  3. My computer has been turned off for two weeks. When I turned it back on, it almost immediately started giving me a MWB "Website Blocked" box, with an outbound protocol. It comes up with the same IP. domain and filename every time, but a different port. It has ben popping up for over an hour now. I did a scan and it came up empty. I found the file, but cannot delete it. I seemed to rename it, but the new name started coming up o the box. I moved it and that didn't help. I can't find any info at all on the file or the listed website. I don't want to add it to the exclusion list until I know what the heck it is. The box opop up every ten seconds or so, stays for 4 or 5 seconds, then drops off. It's been going on for a couple hours now. Can anyone help?
  4. The http://searchinterneat-a.akamaihd.netmalware is hidden somewhere on my computer and Malwarebytes Premium does not find it. It seems to affect Chrome and Firefox, but not IE. It hijacks my home page. Can someone help, please? Addition.txtFRST.txt
  5. Yes, those steps worked just fine. Next time I'll be sure and start a new topic. Well, if there ever is a next time. MWBAM has always worked pretty darn good for me. Thanks for your attention. Walt
  6. Are the responses/steps here still valid? I have the same problem and would like to try them. Thank you. Walt
  7. Forgot to mention, I did a net search for Bunny Hugger bug and nothing came up.
  8. Hi, all. New member, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place. Has anyone heard of anything called "bunny hugger?" A friend has a problem. He says that he has the free version and runs scans weekly. I asked him if he had asked MWB for help, but he hasn't replied yet. I told him earlier to ask, but he hasn't responded to that. He says that he has the "bunny hugger bug." Has anyone heard of that? Any help appreciated, including comments if I violate any posting guidelines. Thank you.
