  2. It is indeed, thank you very much! It's a little slow, but I haven't defragged in a while. Is there anything I can do to prevent this happening in the future? And should I delete all 'quarantined' files in my Malwarebytes? Thanks again, help muchly appreciated.
  3. So, using my computer which is capable of connecting to the Internet, I downloaded the attached file you sent. I then moved it over to the semi-functional computer (incapable of Internet connection) and ran FRST via the 'Fix' command. After completing it, it outputted a file (attached) and required a machine restart (but I'm fairly confident the attached file will tell you that anyway!) It seems to have disabled Microsoft Security Essentials as well? Thanks for your help, muchly appreciated. Fixlog.txt

  5. Hi there, I was hoping someone could help me....I've seen several topics like this, but it seems each requires personalised help, so I figured I'd post my own request. I recently ran a Malwarebytes scan on my laptop (Windows 7, 64-bit) to try and get rid of 'omega plus' and several other annoying things that kept popping up. Uninstalling and re-installing Google Chrome didn't seem to remedy the problem. Now it's unable to connect to the Internet using either Chrome or IE, saying their is an issue with the proxy.
