  1. Cool - THANK YOU! Will go over your recommendations soon and make sure everything is fixed up properly.
  2. That definitely seems to have helped. When starting IE I initially noticed a message at the bottom "an unknown program wants to change your search provider to Google" or words similar to that...I ignored it. After that I didn't see any of the SpeedCheck popups or other out of place ads. Attached are the 2 new logs from Farbar. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  3. Ok - disabled virus protection and ran ZOEK. I noticed the virus protection seemed to reactivate after the computer restarted. Hopefully that didn't mess anything up. The ZOEK results file is attached. zoek-results.txt
  4. Hello! - getting a rash of browser popups, most of which say "Ads by Speedcheck" in small letters near the bottom. Running Malwarebytes quick scan with the rootkit option enabled showed 2 "non malware" hits, but removing those has had no effect on the popups. As directed in the intro, I installed Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and did a scan. The two log files are attached: FRST.txt and Addition.txt. I also saved a copy of the Malwarebytes log and can provide that if needed. Many thanks for any assistance you can provide. Addition.txt FRST.txt
