I tried to install free game but instead received a malware from the installer. Ever since the computer has been displaying different ads in all my browsers. I have had no luck removing it. The installer link: freedownloadfullversion47.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-forest-free-download-full-game.html Found at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Forest-free-download-full-game/707346485997576 The ads are coming from different sites, because I can see them been loaded in my status bar. Some of the domains are: cloudfront.net consumer-responses.com cxense.com datafastguro.info donation-tools.org guardpair.com interstats.org lightquartrate.com makefind.net markable.net nflext.com nflximg.com offers4u.org superfish.com targetingadvertiser.com tns-cs.net toesbait.xyz visadd.com vizejs.info you-may-like.com Malwarebytes Premium can't find the malware. I've tried other antiviruses and other antimalware software, but no one can find it. There are a lot of "guides" out there on other sites on how to remove this virus, but it looks like most of them are fake. The malware is using shockwave, and when I disabled it in firefox the "on image popup ad" over images disappeared, but the domains are still beeing loaded. Some of the image buttons in netflix won't display after I blocked some of the domains. The home image on netflix is displayed as: http://cdn-0.nflximg.com/en_no/ffe/avatars_v2/50x50/PICON_025.png I've tried malwarebytes root scanning without any results. How can we solve this pesky malware?
