  1. Shoots! Wish I could give you more to work with. I haven't seen any mention of this bad boy anywhere else. Maybe try running through nasdaq's recommendations again? I know I got a little lost, but doubled back on a couple of steps. I the end it worked and it's staying gone (knock on wood).
  2. I'm not sure I did everything exactly as stated. I'm afraid I got a bit lost. But both computers seem to be fine! Thank you!
  3. I completely uninstalled Chrome on the office computer. Than I ran both Malwarebytes and Farber and they came up clean on that computer. But the problem is ongoing on my home computer where it first manifested. Would you like me to run the scans again or how should I proceed?
  4. Update- I just got home from work and, yes, one of the two computers that I use at work has the same problem. I've unsynced it and will reset it tomorrow. Odd that it is not happening on the other computer I use for work. However, I will repeat the process there, as well, just to be sure.

  6. Hi, I noticed that my Chrome browser has been hijacked and sends me to "https://ownza.com/featured" I ran Malwarebytes and it didn't detect anything. So I ran Defender, which identified the malware as BrowserModifier:Win32/Beilextec. (It also identified SoftwareBundler:Win32/Somoto.) Unfortunately, Defender said that the removal was incomplete for Beilextec after trying twice. The problem continues. (It said that Somoto was successfully removed.) Can you help me get rid of this?
