  1. That seems to have done the trick. Thanks so much!
  2. FYI, on my husbands computer, he has the same version of Malwarebytes Premium as I do but when I look at the settings, his says he's using Windows recommendations where mine says I'm using another antivirus protection and when I click it says it's Malwarebytes. So his little shield icon shows a green check mark showing windows defender is working too, but mine shows a yellow exclamation mark saying it's not working. I did do a major Windows 10 update the other night, which took a few hours. Not sure if that did something or not because it was working before I did the update.
  3. I used to use the regular Malwarebytes and Windows Defender as my antivirus. Now I use Malwarebytes Premium 3.1.2. I just noticed when I went to run a Windows Defender scan that it isn't turned on, which it always had been. When I went in to turn it on it said I had a different antivirus provider, which I don't. When I finally figured out how to see what provider it listed, it said Malwarebytes Premium. So does this mean now that i'm using the Premium version 3.1.2 that I don't need Windows Defender at all or do I have something screwed up that it won't work with it. I just want to make sure I have an antivirus program running along with Malwarebytes if I need it. I thought Malwarebytes was only a malware protector. Can someone explain this to me so I know I am protected from both viruses and malware like I was before I had the Premium version of Malwarebytes.
  4. Still doing the same thing, not sure what to do other than just stop using it since it won't work. Frustrating.
  5. Today again, got the pop up, clicked yes, and waited and waited, then it popped up saying it's taking too long to load.
  6. Yes. Though sometimes I just get the message that it's taking too long to load.
  7. I'm running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home Premium and the free version of Malwarebytes anti exploit. Not sure which is MB3 and which is MBAE, but we have both running on our desktop with no problem.
  8. I'm having issues lately of when exploit is starting up it asks if I want it to make changes to my computer, every time it loads. It's done this since I reinstalled it after getting the "taking too long to load" error. I tried doing the clean removal but it keeps saying I can't because I' not the administrator. Went into my user control panel and I am the administrator so that makes no sense. So I just uninstalled it via my control panel, then tried to reinstall it, except it kept saying a copy was still on my computer. So I went in and found the file it mentioned and deleted it. Then I reinstalled. But again when it loads I get the box asking if I want it to make changes to my computer. It never did that before until I had to reinstall it. Don't ask me to load the zip files and logs because I have no clue how to do it. I just need to know why it keeps asking for permission when it loads and then later on off and on it'll say it's taking too long to load. Here's the picture of what the message is.
  9. I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this, but I was curious if Weatherbug is considered malware or something. I've run it for years but recently it keeps crashing and I'm wondering if Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is blocking it and causing it to crash. I've never had a problem with it before, and have only been using Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit for about 6-9 months. Weatherbug worked fine with it until recently. I uninstalled it, but I really miss it and wondered if there was a way to get it to work with it or if I'm safer just not using it.
  10. I'm getting a lot of pop ups saying MalwareBytes has blocked a malicious website and most of the time it's on Facebook. Should I worry? I've run thorough MG scans, virus scans, and several others and found nothing. But as soon as I go on facebook again it's popping up. I'm using MB premium and MB Exploit free. I'm assuming that if it's blocking it then that's a good thing. Just wondering why it does it so much.
  11. Curious why I get a flash player error page when I click through certain facebook links and why MB doesn't stop it from trying to download to my computer. I've ran a complete scan, a virus scan, rootkill, awcleaner and a few others and found nothing on my computer so I'm not sure if it's me or if it's the site I'm clicking through or to, but either way why is MB not stopping it?
  12. I'm using the Premium version. It runs in the background, does automatic scans and does catch stuff, but when I click the icon to open it up to run another full scan or to change my settings, it asks if I want it to let it make changes on my computer, I click yes, and that box disappears and MB never opens up. On my desktop computer it opens up immediately, but on the laptop it can take up to 5 minutes or it will not open at all. I even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, same thing happens.
