  1. Thank you for confirming, pmcjr! Good to hear. And we're already looking into the Hourly issue.
  2. Hello, x64-- This is due to a known conflict with Kaspersky: We're working on integrating the fix that has already been tested in the standalone beta MBAE. In the meantime, the temporary work-around would be to go to Settings > Protection > Real-Time Protection > Manage Protected Applications and then turn off protection for any browsers you use (just as you discovered works). We hope to have an upgrade out shortly that address this.
  3. This is the "inconvenience" I referred to earlier in the thread, unfortunately. Basically, our current updater relies on the versioning it sees to check in and determine if you're running the latest. So even though the actual product hasn't changed, the version number got "reset" so it thinks it's something different. So yes, an "update that is not an update" is required and will get everything back in order again.
  4. Not in this very next planned upgrade, but...eventually we'll get to everything. A new cleanup tool is being worked on as a separate project. It won't be part of the next upgrade, but should be coming some time afterwards. Since we released last week we already have HUGE numbers of users running 3.0, without major problems. And we're getting positive feedback from these folks on scan speed, design, new protection features, etc. Yes, we have identified some high-priority issues that can occur on some systems and we're working on getting those fixed ASAP.
  5. I very much appreciate your chiming in, @Porthos. We have a HUGE number of users now running 3.0, without major problems. Yes, we have identified some high-priority issues that can occur on some systems and we're working on getting those fixed ASAP. If you are unable to uninstall via normal methods and you're having trouble, please provide the logs requested so we can help troubleshoot and help you more effectively. We don't yet have a full clean-up tool, but that's also being worked on and we'll try to get it out to you as soon as we can. Thanks for your cooperation as we get these items addressed!
  6. Hi biomembrain-- We've actually been able to reproduce this issue in house as well and we understand what's happening and are working on a fix. It's more of a cosmetic issue, as just the versioning that shows as "3.0.0" is incorrect -- the actual product installed hasn't changed. So once you're out of safe mode and the product checks in to the upgrade server again, it will pull down the latest version and prompt you to install. I know this is an inconvenience, so we're working on getting this fixed as soon as possible. Thanks,
  7. Hi there! We are actively working on a patch release that will address most of the more popular issues that you may have heard about or even experienced yourself. Please stay tuned and we'll let you know just as soon as the new version is available!
  8. Thank you for the excellent recap above, Lisa! I also want to reiterate that we are aware of these issues and we understand how annoying they are. We are dealing with them ourselves, in fact. We are actively working on fixes and hope to get an upgrade released just as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience for a bit longer. As has been pointed out, protection is typically "On" already so you just need to close out the notification, no need to click Turn On.
  9. That's great news! Definitely let us know if you see any other odd behavior. And you're very welcome.
  10. Hi Zenmota-- I have been testing on some different systems and I was finally able to reproduce the behavior you're seeing (and others have reported). I was able to get it to stop reverting to 14 days by doing the following: Change to 1 day Close out the main interface by clicking red X in upper right Quit Malwarebytes completely via the right-click on tray icon Then re-launch Malwarebytes from Desktop icon. After that the 1 day setting was sticky. I have no idea why it behaves like this, but we'll dig in further here! Please do also provide the logs Lisa asked for, as those might shed some clues.
  11. Ok, let's try completely deleting the old scheduled scan and then creating a brand new one by clicking the Add button on Scan Schedule page. Just to keep things very clean. Then let us know how it goes with the new daily scan. If the time for the scan passes and you still aren't seeing the correct Last Scan date on the dashboard (assuming no manual scans after scheduled scan was supposed to run) and you still don't see a Scan Log in the Reports area, please attach a new Service Log.
  12. There's nothing wrong with the way your scan is configured currently, though most users typically don't need a scan hourly. Daily threat scans usually suffice, especially with the real-time protection enabled. Can you confirm whether you're connected to the internet when you attempt to scan? The logs showed that the pre-scan update could not happen and it appears there is no connection. Now, this can either mean you're offline or possibly there is some other software / firewall / etc. interfering with your update attempts. Let me know if you're online, and if so, are you able to manually check for updates from the main dashboard?
  13. Hello, again-- Are you running on Windows PE? If so, unfortunately this is not supported by Malwarebytes 3.0 at this time.
  14. Thanks for providing this information! We'll review the info and see what jumps out.
  15. Hi pmcjr-- Can you please attach these two items so we can try to see what might be happening? 1. Screenshot of your Scan Schedule page in settings. 2. Malwarebytes service log from: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs
  16. Hello-- That MBAE setting to display a tooltip showing applications are protected was not included in Malwarebytes 3.0 due to the fact that there were numerous requests to have it off by default in MBAE. It's possible that we may add it in to Malwarebytes 3.0 down the road for those who want to see the notices.
  17. Hi mikolajek-- The issue you're seeing with Chrome is actually caused by the same problem with Kaspersky. It affects all browsers. As Ron mentioned, we're working on integrating the fix that has already been tested in the standalone beta MBAE. In the meantime, rather than completely disabling Exploit Protection another temporary work-around would be to go to Settings > Protection > Real-Time Protection > Manage Protected Applications and then turn off protection for any browsers you use. Thanks,
  18. Thanks for the logs and additional information. I had also tried this -- I can set that setting to any non-default option and it retains the new value through switching tabs, shutting down, etc. I tested specifically by changing to 1 day and no issues. So there's something different about your system here. We'll review the logs and see if we can figure that out. Please let me know if it happens with any other settings for you.
  19. Hello-- Thank you for your feedback! 1. There are several ? Help buttons that do not work properly. We will be fixing these buttons soon. 2. Thank you for the feedback on the translation! I will pass this along to our translators. Danke und Grüße
  20. Hello, OSCIVWAR-- Right now we have not enabled automatic upgrades of Malwarebytes 3.0 out to earlier versions, so you won't be notified in MBAM 2.2.1 that a new version is available yet. However, you are certainly more than welcome to manually upgrade now, if you'd like. You can download Malwarebytes 3.0 by clicking this link. Just run the new installer over your current MBAM Premium and that'll upgrade it to Malwarebytes 3.0.4.
