  1. I just realized my sentence may have been unclear. It's been long enough to see explorer.exe open up, hog memory, and malware bytes to go crazy...however I have seen NONE of those things. You cleaned it up.
  2. Computer has been running for more than long enough to see explorer.exe open up and start hogging memory, and malware bytes to go crazy blocking outgoing attempts. You have my thanks, and a donation.
  3. This one went smoothly, and the log looks much more interesting. Fixlog.txt
  4. Ok, this marks a full hour that Farbar Recovery Scan Tool is locked up with "not responding" in the menu bar, while the tool itself still says, "Fixing is in progress. Please wait". How should I proceed?
  5. In your experience, how long does the FRST Fix take? we're looking at roughly 10 minutes and it's currently lableed as " Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (Not Responding) " on the menu bar. I only ask out of concern it has locked up trying to process this.
  6. Morning, TwinHeadedEagle. Thanks for helping me out. Attached are two fresh files as requested. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  7. It's been 48 hours - is anyone able to offer some assistance?
  8. I've spent a few hours on this forum reading about others having Explorer.exe errors, happy to see I'm not the only one having this problem, thus being able to confirm there is a problem. However, I am unable to remedy this problem. This is one of our computers at the office, and I've gone through it and can't see any torrenting software installed (or any other questionable software I wouldn't allow in our office). I've already tried rebooting in Safe Mode to do the scan with Malware Bytes - nothing. I've installed and safe-booted scanned with Avira Virus Scanner - nothing. I've used Kaspersky's TDSSKiller's instructions as per This Thread -- nothing. Here's some results from FRST64 - Farbar's Recovery Scan Tool. I doubt this part is helpful - but the logs from Malware Bytes I appreciate any help anyone can offer to get Explorer fixed here. Addition.txt FRST.txt
