I reset Explorer settings, but same issues. Cannot download any files booting in regular mode. Also, recently the computer will just stop working (goes black and has large loud digital sound), which forces me to hold down power to reboot. Maybe I am having a video card issue - but it is not that old? Thanks, Mike

Still get error box when trying to download any file - then internet explorer stops. I have attached file to show screen shot of what I am seeing. ESET Scan came back with no threats found - so did not see List Threats option. However, still seeing Adchoices listing on homepage (do not recall seeing this before) and internet stops working when surfing. Also, unable to download or open any files (when I try says download failed and internet stops working) - have to load into safe mode w/networking to be able to download or open any items. For example - I cannot open any of the attached files in this thread - have to boot into safe mode before I can open the attachments. Thanks, Mike

Based on your comment - I am assuming you are suspecting some issue with adobe (there should be no pirated or cracked software on this system - only thing would be a free trial offer - which I will avoid in the future). I have removed the adobe files to see if that makes any difference and it has not. I have attached the .txt files again to see if anything else could be causing issues. Thanks. FRST.txt Addition.txt

I do not think so - for the antivirus and MBAM, do I go ahead and delete/quarantine files as directed going forward? I have not done anything without your feedback up to this point, so just want to be sure. If you say it looks ok from latest files, think we are good to go as I am not noticing anything outside the norm. many thanks for your help and for supporting such a great forum that users can come and ask for sound advice.

Correct I did not have an antivirus program loaded currently (had removed to make sure other programs worked properly). Reloaded panda antivirus. Was able to get MBAM program to run following your directions. I have attached the scan report. scan log.txt

Kevin, Here are the latest files. Computer/internet is running much faster and the multiple dll *32 files in task manager are no longer present. A few issues I still appear to be having: 1. I am getting no sound when I run any videos on line (youtube,etc), but sound works fine if I jut play a music file from computer. Not sure if related or if I just need to reload my sound drivers? 2.
