  1. *Update* I was able to remove everything on this report, and the next Adw scan came back with nothing on it. I'd still like to know what they were, though, and if my security was compromised.
  2. OS: Windows 8.1, 64 bit Browser: Opera AV: Avast I scanned before making a purchase and found my Alarm Clock app is suddenly registering as a PUP. It contained Win32.Bundlore (an adware, as far as I can figure), so I've quarantined the app, restarted, and am scanning with Avast again. But my Adwcleaner log came back like this: # AdwCleaner v4.106 - Report created 05/01/2015 at 21:31:04# Updated 21/12/2014 by Xplode# Database : 2015-01-03.1 [Live]# Operating System : Windows 8.1 (64 bits)# Username : jsc - YAKIMA# Running from : C:\Users\jsc\Desktop\adwcleaner_4.106.exe# Option : Scan *
  3. Yeah, I had an adware I got fixed up in a second topic that's been resolved. All my scans (Malwarebytes, Avast) were running clean except for this one.
  4. I keep getting 'Internet Explorer' as a result on Adwcleaner, no matter how many times I clean, restart, and scan again. I went into Windows Features and disabled IE (you can't uninstall it, apparently), and still got this result. Can anyone interpret this log? ---- # AdwCleaner v4.002 - Report created 27/10/2014 at 21:50:39# Updated 27/10/2014 by Xplode# Database : 2014-10-26.6# Operating System : Windows 8.1 (64 bits)# Username : jsc - YAKIMA# Running from : C:\Users\jsc\Downloads\AdwCleaner.exe# Option : Scan ***** [ Services ] ***** ***** [ Files / Folders ] ***** ***** [ Schedu
  5. I believe so! I'll make another topic, if it comes back. [RESOLVED]
  6. UPDATE: I ran an Adwcleaner scan and got rid of the Search Protection program that's often associated with Spigot programs. Here's the log of that: # AdwCleaner v4.002 - Report created 27/10/2014 at 14:43:15# DB v2014-10-26.6# Updated 27/10/2014 by Xplode# Operating System : Windows 8.1 (64 bits)# Username : jsc - YAKIMA# Running from : C:\Users\jsc\Downloads\AdwCleaner.exe# Option : Clean ***** [ Services ] ***** ***** [ Files / Folders ] ***** Folder Deleted : C:\Users\jsc\AppData\Roaming\Search ProtectionFile Deleted : C:\Users\Public\Desktop\eBay.lnk ***** [ Scheduled Tasks ] ***** *
  7. I've gotten about six alerts from Avast for a malware called Win32 Spigot, or SP.dll when I move it to quarantine. It always says "No other action required", but my computer is slowing down and "eating" documents (it replaced one with all # signs- although this is a known OO error). Malwarebytes removed five PUP programs, the last of which was called "My Emoticons" or something like that. Please assist. ---- Logs: attached Running Windows 8.1, with Avast and Malwarebytes Addition.txt FRST.txt Shortcut.txt
