  1. I'm sorry for so many posts. I'm just freaking out and have a million things running through my mind. One more question. I have a FreeAgent external hard drive that I use with this computer to back up important data (not system restore stuff though, just data). I usually keep the external drive off and only turn it on when I want to back up my latest data. Is it safe to turn on my external hard drive and let it back up my latest data? If so I believe I can just reinstall Windows on the main hard drive and be done with it. Thanks.
  2. If there are any paid programs that you think might help me please suggest them also.
  3. hmm... Now that I've thought about it I've removed the network cable from the infected computer. It was connected while it was infected for maybe an hour to my home network. Any danger there to the other computers? I'm desperate here. I'm considering running to the store to buy another hard drive and a copy of Windows to install on it. Will I be able to get data/picture/etc from my old hard drives? Or is somehow everything infected?
  4. This computer is on a home network. I have two other computers (obviously the one i'm using to get here) that are fine. Any remote ways of fixing this computer? I feel so hopeless...
  5. rootrepeal won't run either, also re-named as well.
  6. I've tried re-naming and running process explorer, remote process explorer, malwarebytes. This things seems to catch everything. The picture of the running program is different from the one shown here, I'm guessing updated. Anyone know of anything really new that can help me kill this process? Thank you so much.
