  1. Kevin Still looking good. If you have not already, I think you can close this out. Thanks
  2. Kevin I followed your last instructions and cleaned up. Everything is working well. I am not getting any Malicious Website warning, the hard drive is quiet, and my home network is stable. I have restarted the computer and nothing bad returns. I hesitate a little to speak too soon but it appears I am clean. Thank You Very much for your help! I have been struggling with this for a few weeks. I tried DIY following several other threads and although I made some progress in identifying the problem and temporarily deleting trojans, I found I could not achieve a lasting fix. I was even de
  3. Kevin I did the ESET - It took about 30 minutes to scan. No threats were found. Computer seems to be working very nicely. Am I clean? Myles
  4. Things are working much better. No Malicious Website popups are appearing and my system is running quiet and efficiently. Here is what I did: After 2 hours, I stop the fixlist.txt. I had to stop it thru the task manager. But it looked like it did something and I have posted the Fixlog.txt below. then I did the MBAM scan - no threats were detected and therefore no history file then I did adwcleaner - the txt file is pasted below then JRT - txt file pasted below then the MS tool - mrt.log pasted below - Fixlog.txt Fix result of Farbar Recovery Tool (FRST written by Farbar) (x64)
  5. Ok the Fixlist is still running - it has been running for over an hour. It's all on my desktop and there is a window that says: Farbar Recovery Scan Tool Fixing is in progress. Please wait ... That is alternating with another window (that keeps overwriting) that says: Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (Not Responding) Fixing is in progress. Note the (Not responding) part and the Please wait. So I am not sure it is done But it did write a fixlog.txt file and this is what it says: Fix result of Farbar Recovery Tool (FRST written by Farbar) (x64) Version: 23-10-2014Ran by Davi
  6. Even more information, I have my webroot security SW still on and it came up with 8 threats in the last 1 hour (i.e between when I did the Farbar scan and virustotal attempt. Should I shut off webroot?
  7. I can't find the file C:\Windows\system32\eekhj.dll. I did a search on all of C:\windows, still did not find it.
  8. Here is the addition.txt. I am proceeding with virustotal. 9. Thank You for your help with my infection. As instructed, I ran the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and I am posting the results. I had trouble posting to this forum from the infected computer - I could not cut and paste and I could not upload files. I don't know why or if it related to the infection. So I am posting to this forum from another computer (clean I believe). I emailed the FRST txt files to myself and then I could cut and paste on the good computer. Here is the FRST.txt below. I will send the addition.txt in another post. Please Help Scan result of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (
  10. I am getting the Malicious website warning and need help in removing the root cause. This problem has persisted for a few weeks and has proven stubborn. The result is that is hogging my home network, making it difficult to use. Some history: In summary ran the following and in this rough order: (after removing Trend Micro) Kaspersky TDSSkiller, RKill, MalWaresBytes anti-malware, Hitman Pro (beta version), RogueKiller,AdwCleaner, Junkware removal tool, ESET, EMSISOFT. - result of the above: Malwarebytes did not catch anything in the scan but after I put it on it starting to block several M
