  1. For the past two weeks or so I have been puzzled by the fact that Windows Apps (e.g. Microsoft Jigsaw) seem to get stuck on the splash screen for a long time before eventually kicking into action. Using Task Manager I have discovered that when this happens my C drive is 100% busy and that the process using the disk is Malwarebytes. I have watched the disk usage graph in task manager on a separate monitor while starting the app and the disk usage stays at or near 100% for about 120 seconds after which it drops and then the Windows App begins to work.
