Hi,
I noticed a program in the task bar called Malware Protection Live that re-installs itself at every reboot (after uninstalling and erasing from the installation directory). And Malwarebytes can´t track it..
Any help would be appreciated,Thanks!

Hi,
I've noticed on my task bar a program called Malware Protection Live that I can´t remove... I've tried uninstalling and deleting the installation directory and it re-installs itself after every reboot. I've run Malware Bytes and no threats are ever found. How can get rid of this?
Thanks for any help -
Well, thanks for the input

Hello,
If I can just chime in, and make a suggestion:
Set Windows settings such that Windows itself manages the virtual memory paging file. { c:\pagefile.sys }
Use this as a example guide
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/132201-virtual-memory-paging-file-change.html
Once you have made the changes, it is possible Windows is just giving you a normal advisory message. If so, close and let the message go.
Once Windows is managing on its own, the "issue" should go way. At least I hope so for your sake.
Thank you, that worked..but now the pagefile is again on my SSD, can I move it my HDD or was it that that caused the error?

If I do nothig the messages keeps appearing. I've been having the problem for some days, and I only deleted it once
-
yes that's right
Since everytime I turn the pc on I get the same error message, I'm looking for someone that can tell me a way to fix it -
My Pc has 8gb ram
-
So everytime I restart the Pc I get this messages, I've already went online searching for answers, but they didn´t work... Windows 8 Pro
I turn off the paging, delete the file from the drive (using tree size professional), turn the paging on again and when I restart I get the same message!!
Any help would be appreciated..maybe I'm doing something wrong

For some reason that worked!... When I formated my other laptop it didn´t recognize any USB pen until I installed the drivers using the CD.
Well, thanks for the answer, it made try it and it worked
-
So, I had to format my my, after that I reinstalled the OS using an ISO with my original key. But then I noticed I could not find my drivers CD, so I went on another PC and downloaded the drivers from the site and copied them onto a blank CD. But when I insert the CD into the formated PC he says the CD is blank (every other PC I tried recognizes the files inside the Pc).
So am I doing something wrong or is the CD drive malfunctioning?
If so, how do I install drivers onto the PC with no USB, LAN, WIFI drivers and no CD drive?
Thanks for any help..

Yes there's a manual

Yes the network driver problem is gone, just the other one, the airplane mode, is left. Once I get home I'll restart it a few times to see what happens. Anything you would like translated just say
-
The driver is this: Insyde Airplane Mode HID Mini-Driver
-
Found another page with "optional drivers" on the CD and it took care of the Network Driver:)
Unfortunatly I also found out that the Unknown driver is for "airplane mode" and the driver in the CD is not compatible with my Os version...Is this important?
-
Ups sorry, notebook
-
OK. Then it may be an Ethernet driver and/or a WiFi Driver.
Desktop or notebook computer ?
Well, the network driver I know I installed... When I can check the others. Thanks

Other devices
Network controller (controller is the direct translation, it might be Driver)
Unknown device

Hum... It had a list of 10 drivers and I installed them all. But the cd did have other menus, so there might be something there
-
The model is W370SS, but there site only has drivers for w8.1...
When I bought the pc the seller said I could use the drivers Cd that came with the box for w8 pro... And I installed all of them

So I need to check with the reseller

Can´t remove "Malware Protection Live"

First, thanks for reopening
In second place, after I cleaned everything that particular program stopped re-installing itself. So at least on that front I think I'm good. But maybe you can find something else?
If not, thanks for the help
