  1. Hello @steve1717: Please carefully read LiquidTension's #19 post above for the present status and workarounds available. Thank you.
  2. Hello @PCWIzarduk and Try going to https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/211-malwarebytes-toolset/ with your browser. If you are disallowed, @AlexSmith will be along soon to assist you with access. HTH
  3. Hello @RickyO and Please follow @LiquidTension's instruction below. Thank you.
  4. Hello @AnotherConcernedCitizen: Many devs I have known only work on days that end with "y"... Cheers
  5. Hello @gicahagi: This was escalated to Malwarebytes management long ago and the issue may not be resolved within the brief time period you desire. Malwarebytes staffers will make notification when they are able. We do not know if Kaspersky or Malwarebytes or both will make changes. Till then, we must exercise patience.
  6. Hello @ssmal1: Please use the following procedure to answer your own questionable sources now and in the future: You may safely download the link's RAR archive. Extract to yield the uncompressed folder. (Use 7-Zip or WinRAR etc.) Open the above folder. Warning - do NOT launch the embedded executable! Open a browser window to https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload Upload/analyze the suspect executable file using VirusTotal's 70+ engines. Evaluate the analysis yourself for signs of malware. What were the analysis findings? In light of the analysis, would you still launch the executable file in question on your system? If you wish, reply to this topic with the URL of the VT analysis report. HTH
  7. Hello @BrucerMax: Yes. The Malwarebytes for Windows Premium protections will continue as before for Windows 7. The Chromebook may be similarly protected with the same type of license you use for your Windows systems. Please look at Malwarebytes for Chromebook Thank you.
  8. Hello @Petebo: Glad to read the system is okay now. Please let the forum know if you need assistance again. Thank you.
  9. Hello @Petebo: So a staff/expert analysis can begin, please sequentially follow the steps within the hidden procedure in the above post #2 just beneath technical issues. Thank you.
  10. Hello All: A successful update to the beta was made on my MBP11,3 running Malwarebytes v3.9.32 Premium to v4.0.25 Premium running macOS Catalina v10.15.1 (19B88). My premium license and previous settings carried over perfectly. Both Real-Time Protections had been on and remained on. No restart was requested, nor made. A subsequent manual scan did complete in the expected time frame. I too would appreciate a very conspicuous UI protection database update request button followed by some sort of obvious feedback. Otherwise the move to the new look MB4.Beta for Windows type of UI is okay with me as I can deal with almost anything that works correctly. Also, I am certain most users would appreciate seeing edition and application version information emitted to the Title Bar of the GUI. As of about 15 minutes ago, the hotlink in treed's announcement was not yet populated with the beta version download. I suppose that will be coming along shortly or perhaps I am misunderstanding the intent. Such as install the RTM and then update to the beta. Thank you and congratulations to all behind the scenes for making this update another success!
  11. MBG Trojan https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/a1213ad8babad16fc4b0f878e519b73cac75cbd110354bc43ae91604df216b6f/detection
  12. Hello @kthywin: The number of devices you site in post #1 adds up to a total of four (4) devices. If your subscription(s) purchase(s) added up to a total of four (4) devices, the answer is yes. However, if you purchased a subscription with only one (1) device, then only one (1) of the devices you mentioned can be activated to Premium protection. I hope this helps.
  13. Hello @FACE: Please assist the staff/development team and share the entire contents of the C:\AdwCleaner\ directory by compressing into zip archive and attaching to your next reply to this topic. Thank you always for your cooperation.
  14. @gonzo Hello Mike: I retested the www.tweaking.com site just after a W10Prox64 1903/18362.418 cold start. I am now seeing the MBG 2.1.1 reputation block with all of the following browsers: Chrome Version 77.0.3865.120 (Official Build) (64-bit) Firefox 69.0.3 (64-bit) I know the v70.0 update is released. I am just being cautious. Tor Browser 9.0 64-bit (Firefox 68.2.0esr) I realize no official compatibility statement has been made. I will not complicate this issue with a macOS Catalina 10.15 (19A603) report as MBG 2.1.1 is only official with a Windows platform per Tech Specs. HTH
  15. Hello @Purrington: With its release less than 24 hours ago, have you had the opportunity to test again using v7.4.2.0? Thank you.
  16. I agree. Chrome only. Not w/Firefox 69.0.3/MBG 2.1.1
  17. Hello @fredvries: It appears as @bdubrow is assisting you with the licensing issue. Hopefully that system has been fully restored to MB3 Premium for now. Thank you.
  18. Hello @fredvries: The exploit error event log report you attached is greatly valued. The likelihood is quite high that the Malwarebytes Staffers/Developers will also appreciate an archive output from the Malwarebytes Support Tool: If you will, please sequentially follow steps 1 through 8 of the Upload Malwarebytes Support Tool logs manually document. Then, please attach the mbst-grab-results.zip file to your next reply to this topic. Thank you for your time and effort testing MB4.Beta3.
  19. Hello @tomdkat: Within the user's PC, no awareness of the other exists between Malwarebytes for Windows and Malwarebytes Browser Guard. The only time the email address is requested by Malwarebytes Browser Guard, is during new installs. HTH
  20. Hello @GeorgeR5: That is great news. Thank you for the update.
  21. Hello @Pierre75: Neither the site's URL nor the download's URL seem to be blocked by FF/Chrome MBG at this time. Would you please post a screenshot, that illustrates the block, with your next reply to this topic? Thank you.
  22. Hello @GeorgeR5: Since version 2.1.1 Release Notes shows a resolution with the Allow List, would you please check the update is installed and verify if your issue was resolved? Thank you always for your time and effort. cc: @ncar, @rakka
  23. Hello @bwlong57: That is great news! Cheers
