  1. Hello @enyceedanny: When you sent the forum that system's mbst grab on 03-Dec-2018, the Component package version (CU) of MB3 showed CU 1.0.505. Since then, has that system been updated to CU 1.0.527? Thank you.
  2. Hello @3dreal: The answer sent to you by @Ried would seem to prevail: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/233365-malwarebytes-3-not-working-with-winxpno-sse-processor/?do=findComment&comment=1257701
  3. Hello @ikariwolf777: So the experts have data to analyze, please pick one of the W7 systems in question and follow the instructions in post #2 above. Thank you.
  4. Please advise if the Trojan block is still required for: http://bl.webcaster.pro IP: https://hosts-file.net/default.asp?s=bl.webcaster.pro https://hosts-file.net/default.asp?s= https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/75789a774d4f603bdd54bb727d7fabe30337efd56a121ebb16c58d3e24c2f118/analysis/1548135762/ bl.webcaster.pro.txt If not, please consider removal from blacklisting. Thank you.
  5. Hello @boombastik: Unless Malwarebytes management/staff choose to amplify the content of the C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\changes.txt file that accompanied CU 527, the content of that file is the best authority. HTH
  6. Hello All: I never mean to be a contrarian. In that W10 system (post #1), chosen for my CU 527 testing, the context menu entry Scan with Malwarebytes was present before, and is still present and functional. My intervention was unnecessary. I successfully retested that context menu entry just now. To reiterate, my mb3-setup-consumer- install was made on-top-of a pre-existing CU 519 install. Oy vey!
  7. Hello @Gaurav27: You may wish to study the offerings within the Malwarebytes Techbench category. If you have any further questions, please consider contacting @AlexSmith. HTH
  8. Hello @novajones001 and Denial-of-service attack If ongoing, perhaps the only current defensive move, for the ordinary citizen, is to change the public IP address. HTH
  9. Hello @TheHeretic: Outstanding! Please let us know if you require further assistance. That version of Malwarebytes 3 (MB3) could use updating of course. Windows 10 1709 is not that safe either. Cheers
  10. CU 527 was installed on top of CU 519 without any trouble on a W10Prox64 1803 17134.556 system. No regressions have been seen. A DTBS update and the first Threat scan were all OK. All is well! Congratulations to all customers and staff who contributed.
  11. Hello @TheHeretic: Since the attempt using Firefox was met with a 404 return status, please attempt using that system's Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. https://keystone.mwbsys.com The results may be the same. Thank you.
  12. Hello @TheHeretic and Using that computer's default browser, please connect with the following URL and reply with what is displayed. https://keystone.mwbsys.com Thank you.
  13. Hello @Duey: Thank you for the good news! Please let the forum know if you need further assistance.
  14. Only a Custom scan will permit scanning system and non-system partitions. The System partition. On most typical Windows installations, this is the C: partition. Thank you.
  15. Hello @Duey and When online, the system in question must sustain a continuous path with the Malwarebytes License server. Without that perpetual communications path, the MB3 Premium product will revert to the free edition. If @dcollins following document does not assist in the system's issue resolution, please continue to provide the grab result archive below. Firewall Rules for Malwarebytes on Windows devices The security programs of others may also impede the path to the Malwarebytes license server. Please allow the analysis of a data grab from MB3. Please use only steps 4 & 5 of the procedure within the sticky at Having problems using Malwarebytes? Please follow these steps. Then, attach the mbst-grab-results.zip archive in your next reply to your topic. Also, please select the "Follow" box for immediate notifications when a post has been made to your topic. Thank you.
  16. Hello @BummerMan: Reference Sticky: Malwarebytes for Windows and Windows 7 Freeze/Lock-up Is the Known Workarounds #2 viable for your situation?
  17. Hello @verreniun: Again, thank you for your timely observations. Enough preliminary data should now give the Malwarebytes' team a place to jump in. I too can verify the results of your observations, but using a macOS 10.14.2 Mohave MacBook Pro platform with otherwise identical versions. The Malwarebytes team is being notified. Thank you again for your great co-operation with this Beta program. cc: @rakeshsejwal
  18. Hello @verreniun: Thank you too for your rapid and accurate reply! If you have the Malwarebytes for Firefox Beta extension installed in FF 64.0.2, what Firefox response is seen when browsing to the reported URL as in post #1? Thank you again.
  19. Hello @verreniun and To help determine the cause of your system's issue, please obtain the following for analysis: Please launch that system's Google Chrome browser and go to chrome://extensions, toggle on Developer mode and note the version of the Malwarebytes Browser Extension. e.g. 1.0.nn Go to chrome://settings/help and note all the information in the version line. e.g. Version 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit) Report the detailed description of that Operating System type, version, build, etc. e.g. Windows 10 Pro x64 1803 17134.523, etc. Does the system also have Mozilla's Firefox browser installed? In your next reply to this topic, please report the four (4) requested items of data. Thank you for participating in the Malwarebytes for Chrome Beta testing program.
  20. Hello @Bill01568: Additional information is required to analyze the system in question. Please read and follow the steps within the sticky, in this sub-forum, at Having problems using Malwarebytes? Please follow these steps. Thank you.

  22. Hello @Tomari: 1) Now I have a better understanding. You may click on the password protected padlock near the bottom to unlock that screen. Please give that a try. 2) How to take a screenshot on your Mac HTH
  23. Hello @Tomari: Please try a Malwarebytes for Mac uninstall/reinstall: Download a high integrity release copy of Malwarebytes-Mac- and save this installer package file to the desktop for later use. If not already so, please save all work and quit all other open applications. If you do not have that Malwarebytes' premium license number recorded someplace safe, do so now. Open the Malwarebytes for Mac GUI and select: Settings > My Account > Deactivate License. This aids the Malwarebytes license server from exceeding a predetermined count. Then, while Malwarebytes is displayed in Mojave's menu bar, pull down the Help menu and select Uninstall Malwarebytes. This is the approved uninstall method. Once Malwarebytes for Mac has been uninstalled, restart the MacBook's macOS. When the macOS system has completed the restart, launch Malwarebytes-Mac- and install in the normal prescribed manner. Reactivate the premium license and verify that Real-Time Protection is already Started/On or can be made to do so. Please reply to your topic and let the forum know the status of the uninstall/reinstall. Thank you. cc: @treed
