hello i send a message yesterday but i don't see it because i have a similar problem so i comme back i take off my antivirus for 10 mn 3 days ago and got that virus , it's my own fault ^^ all my .doc, .docx and . txt ar modified with this second extensions .ctb2, when i open it with notepad or notepad ++ , its looks like chinese characters. I have formated my computer yesterday because i had others malware ( on firefox kind of searchbar ) My jpg or other things has not the ctb2 extensions ( only doc.docx and txt as i have seen ) and seems O.K. after formating , i can make a normal .txt but all this corrupted files seems lost . here is an exemple of a doc ( a work of my daughter for the school about birds ) modified by the virus : I don't think it's contagious

hi I've got the same thing 2 days ago , my .doc, docx and txt has been corrupted. I formated my computer twice times , no problems with the new documents todat but my old .docx and .doc and old txt are in kind of chinese , i don think we can change that ? extentions.txt.ctb2 with notepad ++
