Hello Everyone,
I tried to make the title descriptive so others who are facing the same issue can find it easily. I recently updated to WSL2 (brief overview of WSL here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/about) and are using the linux environment for CPU intensive bioinformatics work.
My general issue is that Malwarebytes heavily interferes with CPU usage. While MB is enabled (Vmmem - the process for the ubuntu vm) is capped at 25% cpu usage. However when i hard disable MB by turning off the four protection services in the application the CPU usage spikes to 99% or exactly where i need it.
I really, don't want to loose my protection via Malwarebytes although do not want the program to impede my work. Is there any way to whitelist the application?
