  1. With reference to my post #1 and #3, obviously, the problem is the mbamservice.exe runs madly with google chrome but stays clam with IE8. Nothing else to do with the other softwares or hardwares. In my opinion, i think it is better than one-on-one email assistance. If this topic can be kept in the public, we can consolidate more information or similar cases by other members.
  2. Hi, 1PW: I've found several topics which are similar to my case for your information and I think it is needless to provide further diagnostic log. For my case, i don't mind using IE8 instead of google chrome but just hopefully someone can help about this issue in the future. https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/124692-mbamserviceexe/ https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/155568-mbamserviceexe-uses-a-lot-of-memory/?hl=mbamservice.exe#entry869449 https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/155116-mbamserviceexe-slowing-down-network/?hl=%2Bmbamservice.exe+%2Bslowing+%2Bdown+%2Bnetwork#entry866465 Thank you for your response anyway.
  3. Thank you for your reply. 4. i am using Windows XP Service Pack 3 Service Pack 3 32 bit Operating System and Malwarebytes Anti-malware (Premium) 2.0.1012 Here is what i found out the problem: When i am using Google Chrome (36.0.1985.143 m) and once moving the cursor on the page, mbamservice.exe will be kept running and leads to CPU at 100%. The browser is very very slow. However, when the cursor stays (no move), mbamservice.exe becomes zero and the system idle process is about 98%. Then i try to use IE8, mbamservice.exe remains very stable. (almost no usage of CPU at all). There was no such problem in the old version. I have read some of the similar topics and also uninstalled the current version of MBAM by MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x and reinstall the latest build. However, it is still not working.
