  2. Dear Kevin, Unfortunately, the strange thing is that AVG in www.virustotal.com said that it wasn't malicious software and when I looked up the folder and then started a shell extension scan with AVG, I again found nothing, but when I scan the entire pc I get the same trojan message. Should I ignore this message or is there maybe another problem. smoke_mb
  3. Wow, not what i expected. Will the link work? It's all really new for me..... smoke_mb
  4. Dear kevin, Thanks for the quick response. This is the result: SHA256: f75d632a58fff2de2db40ada8f207792105a5da4b4f6bf53bcde5083436fbcdc File name: CCC.exe Detection ratio: 0 / 53 Analysis date: 2014-08-20 23:07:36 UTC ( 7 minutes ago ) smoke_mb Probably harmless! There are strong indicators suggesting that this file is safe to use.
  5. Hello everyone, Today I did some routine scans to see if everything was okay, MBAM showed no issues but AVG free edition did. Here is what was in the AVG scan result: Trojan horse Generic18.BTTO infection c:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\CCC.exe (6124);"Trojan horse Generic18.BTTO";"Infection";"Infection";"High" So, I tried to delete it in AVG but I couldn't get rid of the thing. Any ideas, tips or solutions would be very gratefully received. smoke_mb (english isn't my first language, so I hope it's all clear/understandable)
