  1. I just did a google search on kmspico. this.. Well I had a new hdd installed, and the repair guy must have put a cracked copy of windows 8. I understand if helping me would be against your policy.

  3. Hi, I posted this thread in the malware support forum but then was redirected here. I've followed the steps mentioned in the sticky (I suppose?) and have also attached the log files. Well anyways the problem is mentioned below I have this strange and irritating problem that's making my laptop, especially chrome really slow and buggy. Despite following the exact procedure mentioned in malwarebyte's blog - using ADW, then malwarebytes and then followed by Hitman pro - I can't seem to get rid of pup.optional.oversearch.a and its other variants. I scanned today just to make sure that there isn't any malware, and I got hit by the pup warning again. What should I do to remove this malware for once and for all? FRST.txt Addition.txt
