  1. Yes optional, to have it scan on reboot for example especially when the malware is preventing it from running..... It could run on the next boot up and clean the infections.
  2. Hello and Is there a way to add exceptions in Webroot Internet Security Essentials? If so then adding the exceptions for Malwarebytes files may solve your issue.... 3. Hi, and Welcome to Malwarebytes! Sounds like you have malware on your computer..... Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process: As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have. Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine. NOTE: Please DO NOT post back to (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours. Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post. If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again. Or You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance. Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or here. Please be patient, someone will assist you as soon as it is possible. PS: Please use the "ADDREPLY" button instead of other ones when you start replying.

  7. As far as I know that version of McAfee does not (or we could not find a place) to add exceptions. You may try using a different anti-virus program. By the way, Malwarebytes is not an anti-virus program, it is an anti-malware program designed to work together with your anti-virus program. Malwarebytes does not and will not delete restore points or will it disable your system restore. You may have malware running on your computer that may have deleted those. To check to see if you may be infected follow the instructions below: Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process: As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have. 15. I am not on the Malwarebytes Staff but...... Even though its not listed as a supported operating system, there are folks that do run it on the server platform. As for the admin console, they have been working on it, and is being tested. Key Features -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Support for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7 (32-bit and 64-bit). Light speed quick scanning. Ability to perform full scans for all drives. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware protection module. (requires registration) Database updates released daily. 16. have you scanned for malware using Malwarebytes? Have you scanned for viruses using your anti-virus program?
  17. You mentioned that you have a Dell, if so you can run diagnostics on that computer by hitting the F12 key when you first turn it on. Test the memory, hard drive and motherboard and fans, let us know if you get errors. Especially if the hard drive fails, it would be moot to try and install on this drive.
  18. I assume this is solved then, if you have further issues or questions don't hesitate to ask.
  19. Please send an email to Corporate Support Team <corporate-support@malwarebytes.org> with your Cleverbridge order reference number and they will assist you.
  20. Are you trying to update it using a limited account? You must have admin rights to update....
  21. We are glad Malwarebytes has helped you eradicate this malicious software. If your current security solution let this infection through, you might please consider purchasing the FULL version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware for additional protection.
  22. Glad to hear that you are getting help at the help desk, but you still need to have anti-virus software installed on your computer. Malwarebytes is not an anti-virus program, it is designed to work together with your anti-virus software.....
