  2. Hello and MBAM_ERROR_EXPANDING_VARIABLES (0,9) MBAM_ERROR_MISSING_FILE (3,0, mbamswissarmy.sys) The system cannot find the path specified. Here's a fix that exile360 made, it is universal for XP, Vista and Windows 7 and should fix the problem: Note: If using Windows Vista or Windows 7 you MUST right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator". Please copy and paste the following text in the Code box exactly as written into notepad (not wordpad or any other text editor): @color 48 @echo off if exist "%allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" md "%allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" if not exist "%allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" md "%allusersprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" if exist "%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" md "%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" if not exist "%appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" md "%userprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" del /f /q %0 Once you've done that click on File and select Save As... In the Save dialogue box click on the drop down menu next to Save as type and select All Files Name the file Fix.bat (the .bat extension is very important) Save the file to your desktop and double click it to run it if using Windows XP. If using Windows Vista or Windows 7 you MUST right-click on the file and select Run as administrator otherwise it will not work. Once that's complete try running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware again to see if it now works without error or not.

  6. Hello and If you want to make sure your computer does not have any more infections running that you do not know about, follow the instructions below.... Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process: As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have. Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine. NOTE: Please DO NOT post back to (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours. Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post. If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again. Or You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance. Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or here. Please be patient, someone will assist you as soon as it is possible. PS: Please use the "ADDREPLY" button instead of other ones when you start replying.

  15. Resetting the router will affect everyone that connects to it. If you bought it took it out of the box and did not do anything to it, like changing the password for example then it is most likely hijacked and has to be reset back to factory default settings then you have to go back in there and change the password, and reconfigure the wireless to a secure connection.

  18. Hello and First off, let me let you know that Malwarebytes is not an anti-virus software. It is designed to work with your anti-virus software catching things your anti-virus software does not. Your anti-virus software is your first line of defense (in this case your AVG). If you decide to purchase Malwarebytes, you will still need anti-virus software installed on your computer. Second, we are glad that Malwarebytes has helped you in the past, having the pro version would have probably prevented the infection in the first place. Lastly, as you are using FrostWire (which is a P2P software) it is only a matter of time before you get infected again. P2P software is a large conduit and a BIG means for these infections to spread. Not to mention the legality involved with using such programs. I recommend you uninstall any P2P programs.
  19. Well glad it started working for you, should you have other problems or questions don't hesitate to ask.

  24. Firefox

    error

There is nothing wrong with the download. You have to be in the right group to be able to download malware samples. Being that the file in question is a malware sample and you do not belong to a group that is authorized to download such files you receive the error.
