  1. Also another good film.... Still Alice on Netflix
  2. On Nextlix The Good Nurse I believe its basic on a true story.
  3. If you are using Malwarebytes Premium and its fully activated, you can remove/uninstall anything McAfee and just use Windows Defender, they both run along each other just nicely with no conflicts or slowness. As for cleaning temp files try using the native Disk Cleanup tool that comes with Windows
  4. Happy Birthday @RubbeR DuckY (Marcin Kleczynski) Hope all your wishes come true.. LOL Thanks for bringing us a great line of products we enjoy using.
  5. As @Porthos already mentioned... MCPR has nothing to do with Malwarebytes... That being said, all those files (besides what is in your downloads folder) are located in a TEMP directory... if you were to clean out temp files those files would most likely be deleted.
  6. Got it... maybe I am just jumping the gun, but its more of my thoughts so it does not slip through the cracks, just thinking out loud as a user
  7. @AdvancedSetup sounds good, however I have several lifetime license keys, how will the program know which one I want to use on the desktop?
  8. OK so if I already have all the in my.malwarebytes.com then I would then install MB5 and activate it using email/password comb. It would probably be best to deactivate MB4 before upgrade to MB5 (since it is a lifetime license)? Or would just simply updating MB4 toMB5 do the trick?
  9. @icolcear so how will this work? Will I have to enter a KEY for each product? For Example an ID and KEY for my lifetime license Then enter a separate KEY for my VPN subscription?
  10. By the sounds of this, seems like I understand that there will be a MB5 Premium and a MB5 Premium Plus (so the plus would include VPN?) If this is the case then lifetime users will only get MB5 with no VPN, is this correct?
  11. I mean the amount of time that its going to be public is probably very small, but still there is that chance. Its possible it has to come off of VPN to ensure it gets updates in your "real" region perhaps but I am curios as to why its happening or doing it, hence my question.
  12. I am with you there... let me choose what I want installed and use on my computer.
  13. If I have VPN enabled and I manually check for updates, it states if has to turn off VPN in order to do the update, and asks that I remember to turn it back on, when update is complete, I go look to urn it back ON however its still on. Does auto updates also turn off the vpn while doing updates? Can it not update if I am on a VPN?
  14. In MB4 we have to have this button off in order to have Microsoft Defender running and active in Windows. In MB5 it seems this button has no effect on m Win10 test box, is this the case in MB5 we can have that ON now and have no effect to Windows Defender?
  15. I have tried other servers, got better results from Dallas, as apposed to Chicago. I also tried changing the settings for VPN to use Wintun driver instead. Retested and it was better. Set it back to defaults and now the MBtun is working a little better. I know we take a small hit with going through VPN's
  16. I have noticed some slow downs in internet speeds while VPN is enabled. Normal Speed is about 450 / 50 With VPN enabled its about 300~150 / 50 However this is not all time, still testing to see if I can confirm, just wanted to mention in case others have noticed.
  17. Speaking of lifetime licenses @H4V0C.... I see that MB5 has VPN integrated, does that mean that folks that have Lifetime licenses will also have this VPN (which I assume is Malwarebytes Privacy) included with their lifetime license? For example I have a lifetime license on my MB4 but I have a purchased yearly license for Malwarebytes Privacy, how will that work?
  18. Hello and Welcome @likeastar20 Simply put Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta is the stand alone version that gets tested before they add it to the main product of Malwarebytes Premium. If you plan on running the stand alone version you have to remove Premium to test it.
  19. Microsoft data breach exposes customers’ contact info, emails Microsoft said today that some of its customers' sensitive information was exposed by a misconfigured Microsoft server accessible over the Internet. The company secured the server after being notified of the leak on September 24, 2022 by security researchers at threat intelligence firm SOCRadar. "This misconfiguration resulted in the potential for unauthenticated access to some business transaction data corresponding to interactions between Microsoft and prospective customers, such as the planning or potential implementation and provisioning of Microsoft services," the company revealed. "Our investigation found no indication customer accounts or systems were compromised. We have directly notified the affected customers." According to Microsoft, the exposed information includes names, email addresses, email content, company name, and phone numbers, as well as files linked to business between affected customers and Microsoft or an authorized Microsoft partner. Redmond added that the leak was caused by the "unintentional misconfiguration on an endpoint that is not in use across the Microsoft ecosystem" and not due to a security vulnerability. Leaked data allegedly linked to 65,000 entities worldwide While Microsoft refrained from providing any additional details regarding this data leak, SOCRadar revealed in a blog post published today that the data was stored on misconfigured Azure Blob Storage. In total, SOCRadar claims it was able to link this sensitive information to more than 65,000 entities from 111 countries stored in files dated from 2017 to August 2022. "On September 24, 2022, SOCRadar's built-in Cloud Security Module detected a misconfigured Azure Blob Storage maintained by Microsoft containing sensitive data from a high-profile cloud provider," SOCRadar said. The threat intel company added that, from its analysis, the leaked data "includes Proof-of-Execution (PoE) and Statement of Work (SoW) documents, user information, product orders/offers, project details, PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data, and documents that may reveal intellectual property." Microsoft added today that it believes SOCRadar "greatly exaggerated the scope of this issue" and "the numbers." Furthermore, Redmond said that SOCRadar's decision to collect the data and make it searchable using a dedicated search portal "is not in the best interest of ensuring customer privacy or security and potentially exposing them to unnecessary risk." According to a Microsoft 365 Admin Center alert regarding this data breach published on October 4, 2022, Microsoft is "unable to provide the specific affected data from this issue." The company's support team also reportedly told customers who reached out that it would not notify data regulators because "no other notifications are required under GDPR" besides those sent to impacted customers. 20. It seems that the scroll bar is set to go where ever you click on the scroll bar section.... so if you click at the bottom it will go all the way to the bottom, if you click in the center it goes to the center section. That is most likely by design in the MB program.
  21. @Ried Should they now Turn it OFF now? 'Event Log Data' and slide the toggle switch to 'OFF"

  24. Good Morning and Welcome back... do you by chance have this turned on (Penetration Testing) If so please turn it off, off is the default? Also if you have modified any other settings in there please click on Restore Defaults and click Apply. Then reboot your computer, as you have a lot of pending file renames form looks to be a recent update to your antivirus software. Let us know if that solves your issue.
  25. Hello and Welcome @Phenom Malwarebytes FREE has no active protections so it should run just fine as a second scanner. If you were to active Malwarebytes to Premium however, it may conflict with Kaspersky
