  1. After some testing around, seems like Ublock Origin is indeed the cause of my complications. They must of updated it with new parameters that interfere with google and it's products, since it is effectively a browser firewall.
  2. 1) I'm using firefox 44.0.2 2) Chrome didn't want to cooperate when I tried installing it at first, but eventually got to it. Have an idea of cause but will put down at end of post. 3) Doesn't seem like it affects the other computer (though it is a mac unlike this one). 4) I use wifi. Could possibly be ublock origin extension. When I installed chrome the browser worked fine, but after I installed that extension (mistook the app for the actual program at first) it acted the same way as firefox was. Though it could just be it was acting normally like firefox would at random times so take that as you will. FRST.txt Addition.txt CheckResults.txt
  3. Oh and I forgot to mention, it also affects search results. Sometimes the results disappear from search suggestions or fails to load the results.
  4. So my internet is working just dandy, but as of recently using google or it's products (youtube especially) either take forever to load or fails to load (either parts of the page or entirely). Clearing cookies/cache and turning off java didn't seem to do the trick, some other leads would be nice.
  5. Much obliged. Sent you a tip as appreciation for your aid.
  6. Keeps saying it can't find C:/Delfix.txt and deletes itself after. Made a .txt file with that name and still got nothing. All attempts but the first ran on administrator.
  7. Unsure, I have an S1 and S2 labeled .txt file as well. The C1 was that which popped up after the reboot. Though one thing of note is that the S1 and S2 texts have 576 bytes as opposed of 640 bytes in C1. I'm guessing S1 & S2 were the scans prior to cleaning (was unsure if it worked properly since there was nothing at all so I redid it. Didn't press ok on the clean function until the 2nd try).
  8. Well I didn't get any with the S0 designation, but the one that popped up was the C1 designation. AdwCleanerC1.txt
  9. Nothing has popped up so far upon start-up. Logs are also clean of alerts. Pretty sure that's done the trick.
  10. Alright. I did as instructed and it's telling me OpenDNS is now in effect.
  11. It's an actiontec M1424WR Rev 1 (those 1' could be captial I's though.) Now that I think on it, I totally forgot to reset the router.
  12. Says I'm not. I know the openDNS site and the google variant aren't the same IP but I suppose they both count on this site's detection?
  13. The google one, did both wireless and local just to be safe.
  14. Maybe? I did that DNS fix that was constantly linked, but my protection log on 9/11 that shows that particular IP being blocked trying to access GWXConfigManager.exe Hasn't done anything after the fix though. Posted a copy. Any clue whether or not this is really a malware problem, or just a Verizon issue, because I also use Verizon FIOS. Protect Log 9-11.txt
  15. Having the same issue as those with su2.ff.avast.com. However I deleted avast free anti-virus, so while it did rid of the constant pop ups I still get this occasional one from that same ip towards svchost.exe. Here are attached files per instructed. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  16. Seems to have done the trick. It's on tray and I can activate it now, it's activated to it's premium status and updated. Only thing I notice is that it isn't using the icon associated with the malwarebytes product on the task bar (but the one in the tray is all good). Just a little thing I suppose. Thank you for the help.
  17. It's a no go. Copy + Pasted on run command, gave same results.

  19. Did AdwCleaner and JRT, but combofix doesn't seem to want to continue after loading processes and backing up. At first it was because of the other anti-virus which I thought was disabled, ended up un-installing and rebooting after failing to figure out what else I could disable. Currently stuck before it asks if it can install Microsoft Windows Recovery Console. # AdwCleaner v3.304 - Report created 12/08/2014 at 17:18:58 # Updated 08/08/2014 by Xplode # Operating System : Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (64 bits) # Username : Passive Tee - PASSIVETEE-PC # Running from : C:\Users\Passive Tee\Desktop\AdwCleaner.exe # Option : Clean ***** [ Services ] ***** ***** [ Files / Folders ] ***** Folder Deleted : C:\ProgramData\Ask File Deleted : C:\Users\Passive Tee\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\lks6aeak.default\searchplugins\Askcom.xml ***** [ Scheduled Tasks ] ***** ***** [ Shortcuts ] ***** ***** [ Registry ] ***** Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\apnstub_RASAPI32 Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\apnstub_RASMANCS Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\au__rasapi32 Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\au__rasmancs Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\TaskScheduler_RASAPI32 Key Deleted : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\TaskScheduler_RASMANCS ***** [ Browsers ] ***** -\\ Internet Explorer v9.0.8112.16563 -\\ Mozilla Firefox v31.0 (x86 en-US) [ File : C:\Users\Passive Tee\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\lks6aeak.default\prefs.js ] -\\ Google Chrome v [ File : C:\Users\Passive Tee\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\preferences ] ************************* AdwCleaner[R0].txt - [1483 octets] - [12/08/2014 17:09:20] AdwCleaner[s0].txt - [1420 octets] - [12/08/2014 17:18:58] ########## EOF - C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[s0].txt - [1480 octets] ########## ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Junkware Removal Tool (JRT) by Thisisu Version: 6.1.4 (04.06.2014:1) OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Ran by Passive Tee on Tue 08/12/2014 at 18:13:05.21 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ Services ~~~ Registry Values ~~~ Registry Keys ~~~ Files ~~~ Folders ~~~ FireFox Emptied folder: C:\Users\Passive Tee\AppData\Roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles\lks6aeak.default\minidumps [128 files] ~~~ Event Viewer Logs were cleared ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scan was completed on Tue 08/12/2014 at 18:17:22.28 End of JRT log ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  20. Just so we are clear, the usernamehere part I added deliberately to this post. Now that I look back, it was irrelevant since I just posted the name on here earlier. It just isn't the actual error.
  21. Windows Cannot find 'C:\Delfix.txt'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Followed by: Line 596 (File "C:\users\usernamehere\Desktop\Delfix_10.8.exe"): Error: Can not redeclare a constant.
