  1. Still no word. I've check my spam box and no reply. Good thing this isn't an important inquiry otherwise I probably would have gone somewhere else with my business by now.
  2. So I still have not heard anything after I submitted an email to corporate@malwarebytes.org. When I signed up to be a reseller I was not contacted back, I had to initiate contact again through support. Is this typical?
  3. Yeah, that's the email I contacted to get setup as a reseller I believe. I just sent them another email and will post back if central management is available. Thanks for the reply.
  4. I run a computer service store and we cater to small business and home users. Here are a few things I think would help us: Easier way to purchase multiple licenses at once: Since we are reselling, it would be nice to buy a pack of 10 or 20 at one time and activate each license as it's sold. This would cut out the some of the time it takes when we have to sell a copy. Delete Temporary files before scanning So when we are trying to run a quick and dirty scan we notice that MBAM will always scan temporary files for each user on the computer. This is unneccessary as temporary files should be deleted regardless (and eventually will be deleted by us). So we'll get half way through the scan and notice it's taking longer than we thought and it's usually do to scanning temporary files. It would be nice if we could just delete the temporary internet explorer files or skip scanning of those files or something. We have tried to be clever and pause scanning to go delete the temp files but I guess MBAM pre-populates the list of files it's scanning because even if we have deleted the temp files we un pause and it still tries scanning those files. Remote installation and Managment With our small business clients it would be nice to have an MBAM central managment system that we can run from our clients server which would be able to remotely install MBAM, initiate scans, and collect results. some of these things may already be implemented and I just don't realize. If so feel free to inform me. thanks.
  5. Good news! I'm glad I could finally contribute something back to the community that has helped me for years!
  6. I kept getting this runtime error 5 invalid procedure call or argument when I would try to run Malwarebytes. It would get to zipfldr.dll in the scanning and would present this error. I even tried telling malwarebytes to only scan the registry and this same error would happen at this same spot. I tried running spybot and super antispyware and while they did find things and removed them I still had the same problems. Note - I found the following files in step one and then also found another post that was talking about removing them so I knew I was on the right track. Step 1 (this is most likely what fixed it) So I booted into bartpe from a CD and started exploring the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder and found the following suspect files .sys - (this was suspect because it had no file name before the extension) (.sys - (this had a weird name so that's why I assumed it suspect) Internet Explorer.sys - (I didn't feel this should be there so it was suspect) rootmdm.sys - (this I think is legitimate from another rootkit scanner but I wanted to be safe) I renamed the files as the following: ~.sys ~(.sys ~Internet Explorer.sys ~rootmdm.sys Step 2 (I don't think this helped but I wanted to let people know what I did) I also found the following files in the c:\windows\system32\ folder: atifglpf.xml - (I think this has something to do with dell installing software on new computers but better safe than sorry) KGyGaAvl.sys - (I believe this has to do with Divx but again safe than sorry) l_except.nls - (this is probably fine but I thought I saw it mentioned in another scan as bad so I picked up on it) Again I renamed the files as the following: ~atifglpf.xml ~KGyGaAvl.sys ~L_except.nls Also while I was in there I deleted and .tmp files I found in the Windows directory and the windows\system32 directory. I rebooted into windows and ran a malwarebytes scan and it completed successfully (it didn't find anything though) Maybe this will be useful for others.
