  1. I forgot to mention I'm using an alternate computer to make these disks and such.
  2. Well I think it will work. I tried installing the newer version of MBAM on that OS and it can't handle it, it has programs that it uses RAM to run temporarily, it can't really handle any other programs so I'm going to use a Windows 7 disk to be able to scan with the newer MBAM.
  3. It's going to take a while to make a boot disk, though. I was wondering if you think that will work or not? I suppose it will because the older version was able to run on Mini-XP.
  4. I was actually using an alternate boot disk to use that, it happens to have an older version and the newer version doesn't work on it, I'm currently making a Windows 7 boot disk with more memory to be able to run the most up-to-date MBAM avoiding the effects the virus(es) have on it.
  5. I booted Hiren BootCD from a USB and I quick scanned with MBAM, 11 viruses were detected. Upon removing them I was asked to restart, I booted back into Hiren and I re-ran a quick scan and there were still the viruses. Here's the log following the second scan. Untitled 1.bmp
  6. This is what I got from the scan. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  7. So, I got a virus today that prevents me from opening Malware Bytes. I tried everything, and redid everything in Safe Mode. I tried renaming and changing the file name/type of mbam.exe and mbam-setup.exe. I tried reinstalling and running MBAM off of a flash drive. I don't know what else to do. I wondered it there was an MBAM boot disk so I could burn it to a flash drive and boot MBAM and MBAM only from a boot disk if that makes any sense. I would greatly appreciate any help. Sorry if this post is a bit jumbled up, I got about 3 hours of sleep last night.
