  1. After running MBAM and listing down the infections detected, I think a "Select All" checkbox would help to select all the detected malwares at one go and remove. As of now, we have to manually select all the malwares detected and then remove them. It is fine when there are 1-2 malwares in the list, but when there are several detected, it becomes a hassle to manually select them and remove Thoughts?
  2. I have downgraded to 32Bit Windows XP and now MBAM seems to run fine. MBAM 1.4 has compatibility issues with 64 bit windows and I couldn't do a thing on my PC with it installed. At the same time, I didn't want to run my PC without the protection of MBAM in it and so I decided to better downgrade rather than keep on whining that it doesn't work So I can't provide you the logs anymore [i couldn't have anyways since it froze my PC everytime I started windows] I'll be using another Anti Malware software on my other PC which runs Vista 64 bit
  3. Today while starting up my PC I got an error message "MBAM service stopped unexpectedly. Please see log for details" after which my PC froze and I couldn't do a thing. I reset my PC and the same thing happened, only this time I didn't get the message, but my PC froze anyways. After that I uninstalled MBAM completely from my PC and now my PC works fine. So I think V1.4 has a major bug or has major incompatibility issues with 64 bit Windows. Whatever may be the case, I am not going to reinstall it till I get an affirmation from the MBAM support that this issue has been resolved. I really like MBAM but these issues are really irritating. Thanks!
  4. As of now [after reinstalling MBAM] I am not getting the 732 error but the automatic updates isn't working either [it has never worked for me] and I have to update manually The IP protection module can't also be turned on
  5. BTW, the IP protection module is still unchecked and I can't seem to activate it either Is this a bug or an incompatibility with the 64bit Windows XP architecture?
  6. Followed your instructions and till now haven't gotten that error again. I have also set up exception rules in my Avast to ignore the following files which scanning C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe Let's see how it goes Thanks a lot for all your help
  7. Hello Kenny Thanks for your reply FYI, I have automatic updates turned on ever since I have installed windows I am running the Secunia Online Software Inspector now as per your recommendation Thanks!
  8. Hello I have been using MBAM full version since the last 3 months. My PC has Win XP Pro SP2 x64 version installed. Ever since I have been using MBAM, the automatic updates doesn't work. [i am using the default Windows Firewall]. Even though the updates are scheduled at 11PM [iST] but everytime I have to update it manually [don't know whether the updates are silent or I should be getting the update pop up window] Now that I have upgraded to MBAM 1.4 I cannot activate the IP Protection module through the icon at the system tray. Also with this new version, whenever I am trying to update, my PC and the internet connection gets frozen and I get an error of 732 (0,0) Please help Thanks!
