  3. It started a couple of days ago. Mbae service is using 100% of cpu. I tested also the latest version, you see I had been using version 109, I also installed older version that worked fine before but after 30 to 45 minutes after installation they all present the same problem. High cpu usage thus turning my computer unusable. Had to uninstall the programme. Any Ideas what it may be causing that ? Thank you
  4. Just wondering, will it be possible to add to the shield older versions of google chrome ( 49) ? Cheers
  5. Not only. Chrome advises the removal of Avast ! Lol https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=221128.0
  6. Hey nukecad, I was referring MBAE beta. Upon installation you'll notice the enable free trial box is checked. That was the cause of my issues. Uninstall MBAE and then do a clean install following the steps. When you come across the "enable free trial "deselect. I am on winxp by the way Cheers
  7. Few days ago had very similar symptoms to yours. Then I realised that enable free trial was checked. I reinstalled anti-exploit deselecting free trial and now everything seems to be ok. Try to see if this works for you. Cheers
  8. I am using AMD Sempron 140 2.7 GHz. Good to know, hake. I'll upgrade to version 109. Cheers
  9. I am in version 107 and do not have this issue. Since I have been using this version ( 107) for almost a day I'll keep an eye and report back if anything ... Cheers
  10. Thus far version 107 is working fine with XP Cheers
  11. Actually my OS is win xp sp3 pro. Cheers
  12. Had to disable automatic upgrade and reinstall version 1.12.1.90 due to : " The procedure entry point K32GetModuleFileNameExW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."
  13. Thank you very much indeed. Everything has been sorted out.
  14. I do the same but somehow I forgot to do so for that version. Anyway, going back to 1.48 is not such a big step backwards.
  15. Basically I get the same thing on Winxp sp3 pro with google chrome 49.0.2623.112 chrome.exe - Erro de aplicativo Exceçâo exceçâo de software desconhesida ( 0x0000409) em 0x00467f32 I might have to revert to version 1.11.1.48 unless of course someone could be kind enough and provide me with a link of version 1.11.1.79 . Thank you. PS : No problems with Firefox ESR 56.6.0, seamonkey 2.49.2 and opera 36.0.2130.80 Firefox updated to version 52.7.0 seems to be fine. So far so good.
  16. I don't think I can argue with that. I have just removed files and corresponding registry keys from my system using MBAM. Thank you very much indeed for your patience. You may lock this thread as answered.
  17. First of all you are absolutely right regarding ip2launcher.exe. I removed the two files in question ( amdfx and mrxsmb22) . This can be easily done using mbam or you may do so manually. These two files never came back into my system. For two days nothing out of the normal was evidenced. Of course two days is not time enough to tell. Then I restored the two files back to my system ( Thursday until now Sunday). No suspicious behaviour of any kind was observed. amdfx seems to be a storage filter x , from Advanced Microsystems Devices ( AMD ) mrxsmb22 seems to be a Netfilter SDK IDI hook driver ( WPP) from Netfilter SDK.com something to do with filtering conflicts, when several local proxies are filtering the same TCP connections in cycle. Some of the anti-virus scanners at VirusTotal detected those two files as some kind of a threat or PUP. 2% and almost 4% respectively. Mbam in virus total considers both files clean. When I scanned just the two files with mbam and Avast both files were deemed clean. Taking into consideration all of the above I decided to keep those files in my system. I do understand I cannot ask you to consider these files as false positives since as it has been shown there are malware that go by the same name. Your input will be mostly appreciated. In the meantime, thank you so much for your attention and participation.
  18. MalwareBytes AdwCleaner version 6.047 supports windows xp Version 7 does not. You may download it from here : <redacted> Cheers
  19. Thanks for your trouble. By the way I scanned my pc with malware bytes and removed said threats. Restarted and files in question nowhere to be seen. Scanned again and it seems I am clean. Prior to removing detected threats I scanned with avast, Eset, Avira utility tool, Zemana, and Karpensky none of them detected anything at all. This makes me think that ... Sorry I do not really know what to think. I'll monitor my pc to see if the removal of those files is causing any problems to my system . You'll be hearing from me in a couple of days. Once again thank you very much indeed.
  20. Thank you for your help. I've never had any problems whatsoever as the ones described by the gentleman above . Malware bytes did remove them but as I said I restored them due to i2launcher. Since it is not related I'll scan my PC again remove them and see what happens. I'll report back to let you know. Then I'will follow your advice and seek assistance in the malware forum. Kind Regards
  21. As per your request Thank you amdfx.zip mrxsmb22.zip
  22. But of course. Please find malware log below Thank you MBAM log.txt
  23. Dear Advancedsetup I am sorry I guess I forgot to quote you before posting.
