  1. Sorry, I cant find the other log. Imagine the last path is gone HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet002\Services\MFE_RR -> DELETED.
  2. So a little while ago before I knew how careful you had to be with the registry, I let rogue killer delete three suspicious paths (registry keys) that belonged to Mcafee Anti-Rootkit. I checked to see if the application worked after, and it was just like when I downloaded it. I was still nervous so I deleted the exe and re-downloaded. Then I ran rogue killer once more. It found 2 of the same suspicious paths as last time, but not the third. Should I be worried that I damaged my computer. Also, as you can see in the logs some of the hide desktop icon keys came back. I have had no problems with my computer and have used several scanners. Thank you! RKreport_DEL_07132014_122016.log New Log.log
  3. So I have used several scanners to help removed every last bit of malacious material. I have used Malwarebytes free, Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit, Macafee full scan, Emsoft Emergency Kit, Adwcleaner, Junkware Removal Tool, TDSS killer, Hitman Pro, Macafee Anti-Rootkit, and ESET online scanner. I found fairly little things. Some leftover pup files in Malawarebytes, no rootkits, and some registry keys. I have had zero bad activity on my computer. But, I got paranoid about the registrys. The reason was Malawarebytes found some registry keys, Rouge Killer found some, and Emsoft found 3. What scars me is that not one scanner can find all the registries. I'm scared because I heard malware can rebuild with leftover registries, and it would make sense if I hade more left. Thank you so much!
  4. So I was running Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and I came across this at the end of the scan. Infected file C:\Users\Dane\AppData\Local\Temp\sevcgyqbysux\wajam_validate.exe could not be remediated because backup file is not available Scan finished On the "remove" page it said no malware detected. I have had no problems with my computer it all. I also don't have the effects of wajam, neither do I have it in my programs. I am running win 7. I ran scans with Rouge Killer, TDSS killer, Adwcleaner, Malwarebytes Threat Scan, Malware Custom Scan with Rootkits, and Hitman Pro. All of them came up with nothing. I don't care if it won't do anything, I still hate little things like this. Thank you very much for your help. I have included the logs. This is a log of me scanning a couple times because they put it all in one file. All of the time it cam up with it still.system-log.txt
  5. So I was running RogueKiller and most of the bad registries were removed, however 4 of them said Error (2). Sadly I do not have the registries logs. I am wondering if it was McAfee, because it was detecting false positives of McAfee in the browser section, like McAfee "Safe Key." So I did a reboot and ran the scan again and it found nothing, except the false positives. I decided to run a wealth of scanners then. I did a full blown custom scan with Malwarebytes, TDSS Killer, Adwcleaner, Hitman Pro, and Junkware Removal Tool. None of which came up with anything. So what should I do about these registries? If you really need the logs, I maybe could get them tomorrow. Thank you very much!
