  1. Just out of curiosity, I tried the Scan with.. menu item again before doing anything else and it worked perfectly. No worries. Thanks again.

Before I try the above, I should mention that this issue was reported the other day immediately after I had downloaded and installed the notified update, so I assume I have the latest version. Also, I am running Windows 8.1 Pro, fully updated, having previously upgraded from Vista Home via 8 Pro. No XP involved. If the above doesn't work, I do have a current Windows backup! Will report back.
  3. If I right-click a file or folder and click the "Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" link, the new version appears to do a full scan. Have I missed a setting somewhere?
