Hi Thanks for your response. Could I firstly check if this is a known virus or otherwise? The reason being that I have been having a one to one communication with a lady called Deb who also posted on the forum re the same problem and both of our research has led to it all pointing to Ask.com. I have quarantined all the PUP's however I have uninstalled the Ask.com toolbar and Ask updater, rebooted then hyper scan and threat scan with "no detections". Deb has not been able to do this as she does not have administrators permissions whilst her employer is away. I have scanned again since and no further detections. I didn't want to delete the PUPs as they appear to be registry files and didn't want to do any damage to my PC. I have taken screen shot of the files for your attention and pasted into a word document if thats ok? although this shows a few of them ticked for deletion I unchecked them and left as they were. I run Windows 7 64bit and have MB premium. I update several times daily so was surprised to spot this alert. I'm not too technical minded so if this appears to be some form of false alarm caused by Ask.com I would rather leave it at that without all the other. If that is the case what should I do with the quarantined files? If I have to go with your list I may have to prepare myself!! Appreciate your help either way Regards virus log malwarebytes 7 july 2014.pdf
