  1. I have followed your instructions and all now appears to be well and good. I have successfully updated the database and run a scan with no crashes. Thank you for your assistance.
  2. Before I try this, please note that MBAM doesn't just crash when attempting an update. It crashes when attempting to execute any function.
  3. Regarding this issue. The product is, to all intents and purposes, useless if it crashes as soon as it is opened. Assistance with this would be much appreciated. As I mentioned, I can install MBAM 1.75 and it runs just fine. I can't update the database though because the updater just downloads the 2.0.2.1012 version and installs it.
  4. I just updated to 2.0.2.1012 on a 32-bit Windows 7 machine. I have been using Malwarebytes very happily for years. As of updating to this new version, it crashes when I attempt to run the update database. The crash is instantaneous when I try and execute any function. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the result is the same. I had an older version (1.7.x) saved and installed that (the database was 450 days old) and that ran just fine. Your assistance would be much appreciated. As suggested in my initial post, please see the following thread. I have attached the originally requested dumps. https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/151709-crash-on-update/ Addition.txt FRST_30-06-2014_21-49-42.txt CheckResults.txt
