  1. Ran mbam a few times and I believe Cryptowall was removed. However, issues remain. However, Windows XP continues to open ransom note file:///C:/Users/Bob/DECRYPT_INSTRUCTION.HTML and to Notepad 837DEA42B45EA089AD1DA73C5392ADA0 Also have dll file issues. Microsoft Security Essentials will not run. System is slow. Since many files are corrupted by Cryptowall, my view is purchase a non infected computer then use Malwarebytes Secure Backup to salvage any files on infected puter. Transfer salvaged files to new puter. Completely wipe hard drive of infected puter. Purchase Windows 7 and install on wiped hard drive, down load files from Malwarebytes Secure Backup on to wiped drive. Is this plan tenable or would I be better off attempting to attack vestiges of Cryptowall on drive now? Will install Windows 7. Better now or after removal of Cryptowall vestiges?
