  1. Hey 1PW, I've continued to work on my lappy while waiting for support to get back with my other thread and through the windows recovery tool that had a 'problem scanner' or something like that, it came up that AVG was the problem. I got rid of AVG and got AVAST running... Performed every one of their scans, quick scan, full scan, boot scan, etc. Found many items that AVG never found. Once I completed these cleans, I got MBAM running and it has been running well. My computer froze one time with this configuration with dozens of hours of running well. So, I think I may have identified and resolved the issue, and was finally able to produce all of the logs you initially requested in post #2. I'm hoping you can take a look at all of these new logs I have generated to see if they look good from your angle or if there are any other issues you think I may need to still address. Really trying to get myself into the 'ounce of prevention' realm and make sure I'm fully out of the 'pound of cure' arena! Thanks! Addition.txt CheckResults.txt FRST.txt
  2. Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this thread and for your willingness to help! About 15 seconds after I get MBAM premium running on my computer, the entire system freezes up and the cursor disappears. My only recourse that I've found is to go in through safe mode and uninstall MBAM so I can use my computer in the mean time. I initially posted in the help section (https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/150973-help-request-system-freezing-when-malwarebytes-is-in-real-time-unable-to-access-dl-server/#entry843297) and was recommended to come here for further support. I have gone through this process a couple of times and it has not resolved my issue: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x. Attached is my FRST.txt file and Addition.txt Thank you again for your time and insight... I really appreciate having assistance with this issue. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  3. So it sounds like you are wanting me to generate the checkresults.txt report with malwarebytes running, which makes sense... But, I am not able to boot up windows after following all of the steps in "Please try the following and let us know if this corrects your issue or not. MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x." When I finish the steps outlined in there and reboot, the computer freezes on the enter your password screen to get into windows... I am required to hard shut down and boot into safe mode and uninstall Malwarebytes before I'm able to boot my computer into windows 7 normally. So, I want to get you that report in the way you are requesting, but I'm physically not able to do so. I also ran all of the steps in chamelion to try and install MBAM and I get the same results, by the way. Computer runs fine without MBAM running, but the fact that I'm not able to get it running smoothly makes me believe there is something going on behind the scenes that is not beneficial. I appreciate your help and know that I have patience and a willingness to figure this out, so let me know if there are any other reports you'd like to see, if I should run those reports from safe mode, or what. Thanks again for your time and assistance
  4. Thank you! Glad I upgraded to the premium level and look forward to sorting this all out. First step, the MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x did not resolve the issue. Found this on my own a while back and tried it then to no avail... For integrity's sake, went through the process again, today and my computer froze up a few minutes after re-installing and getting it running. Second are the diagnostic logs... You will find FRST, Addition and Check Results attached here. I appreciate your time, insight and willingness to help. Addition.txt CheckResults.txt FRST.txt
  5. Hello... And honestly, thank you for your willingness to contribute to these forums to help people like me who are tired of banging head against keyboard! The short story here is that I believe I have malware or some sort of other conflict that is keeping Malwarebytes from functioning properly. Here is my best attempt at a succinct explanation of where I'm at: For a while (the 30 days since I upgraded to premium and downloaded the new interface) I have not been able to run Malwarebytes (the old free one worked fine, on-demand). If I uninstalled it and re-install'd it, on the first scan it would freeze up or my computer would begin blue screenin' o-death every time I rebooted it unless I went to safe-mode. Through safemode I was able to uninstall it and I've spent a good amount of time and energy removing old install files, temp files and random STUFF that wasn't needed because there is obviously an issue and/or conflict. Today, I was able to get it to install in safemode and run a scan... Then I updated it in safemode and ran another scan successfully. Very promising! I reboot into normal windows 7 and try to run a scan and my cursor disappears and my system freezes, like it would before. Went in through safemode to uninstall and I then got Chameleon... Installed it with Chameleon, it ran a scan (only took like 2 minutes and I have at least 250k files on my computer) and everything seemed kosher... With how many files I have, something seems fishy. Now it says 'Your system is not fully protected' up top (I do have premium subscription) and when I click Fix Now, nothing happens. Also, when I click on Update Now I get an 'Unable to access update server' message. I believe that I have something on my computer that is malicious and blocking malwarebytes from working properly and I don't know how to remove it. I'm hoping someone through the forums can help me create a few logs that can shine some light on the true issue here and resolve this conflict so I can have MB running, updated, in real time, keeping me from reaching this point of despair in the future. Thank you again!
