  1. I believe the following is a false positive. As far as I'm aware, this file hasn't changed since I had Emby installed on my system. In addition, if this file is COPIED to an alternative location (i.e. my Possible False Positives folder) it's not detected as malware. Please could you confirm. Thank you. p8-usbcec-driver-installer.exe.rar
  2. As requested (I think), please find the attached... PossibleFalsePositives.rar
  3. Malwarebytes Premium has suddenly started to flag up four LNK files which are my own creation to scripts I run so I'm guessing these are false positives. I didn't think LNK files (or shortcuts) could become infected but I may be wrong. I have scanned with F-Protect and this is saying the files (and my system) are clear of infection. Is this likely to be a false positive?
  4. A change in icon colour perhaps? You would know it's working by looking at the stats. Turning off the numbers on the icon would be an OPTION and not MANDATORY. It's the same with any ad blocker or any I've used anyway. Why do I need to know that 1, 5, 50, 158 or 67,890 ads have been blocked on a page (extremely exaggerated numbers there [I hope])?
  5. Not really sure how to title this, so I've just done an exert of the post. This should also be relevant to ALL browsers that support this plugin. I have recently installed Browser Guard on Chrome [ 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) (64-bit)] (I am a long time Premium user) and I was wondering if it was possible to remove the display of the count of ads / trackers blocked on the icon. I know it doesn't change the way the plugin works and it's only cosmetic, but I don't need to know how many it's blocked, just that it's working. If this is not currently available, could I make a request for this to be implemented in a future release? Thanks
  6. I really don't have the time (or desire) to re-install the software as it is so disruptive to me. I shall just be patient and continue to run V1.75.1300 until I receive a notification V2 is now OK to run.
  7. OK, I stand corrected for BETA testers being paid, sorry about that, but it still doesn't solve my (and many others) issue, so I'll stick with 1.75.1300 until it's sorted.
  8. I have been using MBAM for a number of years now and with V1 I rarely (if ever) had any problems. Since "upgrading" to V2 I've had no end of problems. My PC freezes, Malicious Website Detection keeps stopping and can't be started again, MBAM refuses to start at all; no icon in the tray and when you double click the desktop icon you get nothing but the UPC prompt asking if it's OK to start. I have just re-downloaded v1.75 as I refuse to have to go to these lengths for a so called "upgrade". I refuse to have to run diagnostic tools - this should be done in BETA testing, not after release! For further info though, you may want to know that: I am running a FRESH installation of Windows 8.1 Pro as I thought it may have been something in Windows that was causing the issues initially I have carried out the MBAM-Clean process on several occasions (prior to reinstalling and post installation of Windows 8/8.1) and the situation just repeats after a few hours, even if my PC is left on Neither of the services (using services.msc) will restart. I receive error 1067 for MBAMService and 1053 for MBAMScheduler the later of which is understandable as MBAMService isn't running. I would like to know if there is a later version of V1 MBAW than 1.75 because until such time these issues are addressed, I can't afford to spend the additional time required to keep V2 running; I'm not one of your BETA testers you know, they get paid! Your somewhat disgruntled user!
