  1. No, I no longer need the help. I just reloaded my OS and Malwarebytes is running fine with no interruptions.
  2. Hey guys! I have a problem where the MBAM protection module stops starting on bootup, and after this, I an no longer run MBAM and have to reinstall. I posted in another part of the forums and they said that I might be infected, and to post here. Here are my log files, and thank you for your help and time. Addition.txt CheckResults.txt FRST.txt
  3. Just as an FYI: Malwarebytes is malfunctioning again. I did a fresh install yesterday, and today it didn't launch on start-up and isn't launching currently. If it is recommended that I have to reload my OS, that's fine. I have no issue doing that at this point.

  5. I reinstalled MBAM, and everything is running smoothly (as usual). I'm sure the problem will pop up again, but here are the logs that you asked for. Addition.txt FRST.txt CheckResults.txt
  6. Well since MBAM won't even run (unless I reinstall it), I can't get diagnostic logs of it. Would you like me to reinstall and get some logs? The problem is impossible to replicate, as once the protection module stops booting, the program itself won't even run.
  7. Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I did follow your uninstall steps last time I encountered this problem. I added the necessary exceptions, rebooted, and still have the issue. I also forgot to mention that I am running HP Protect Tools simply for the convenience of having bio metric login capabilities. I doubt that would conflict because it has nothing to do with malware or AV, just logins and passwords.
  8. Hello! I run MBAM and Windows Defender together. I am running Windows 8.1. I have a problem that is temporarily solved by an uninstall and re-install of MBAM. The protection module stops starting on bootup, and when i try to run the mbam.exe, it never runs. I have to fully uninstall the program, reinstall, and reactivate. MBAM runs fine for about a week, then just stops booting up or working at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
