Hi, lately I've noticed that often when I return to my PC after it has been locked for a while, the cooling fans sound considerably louder than they used to. When I unlock the PC with my Windows password, the fans almost instantly slow down to normal. A look at my MSI Afterburner graphs show that whilst the PC was locked and supposedly idle, my GPU usage was at 97/98% and the CPU at around 25-30%. I've tried to trace the problem by leaving Process Explorer running while the PC is locked, but annoyingly the problem doesn't occur whenever I do that. I've tried scanning with my AV (Avast free), MBAM (free) and Adwcleaner but the problem remains. I'd be very grateful if someone can help me with this, many thanks.
