hi ron, the ie one worked for getting into hotmail again- thank you the google folder under program files is stll there, it shows 254 files desktop, that is close to number of desktop files i had yet no way to open it = it has a folder in it with bunch numbers letters ( see previous post) and the windows fix to uninstall a program allows for you to put in as example, program with letters numbers - however if that is where the missing docs are then if i uninstall it and then they are gone so i bypassed it for now ty

not able to check from another right now prefer no firefox on other computers when used firefox each time had issues , tried again and when put sign in info, took me over to this page right here on malwarebytes, is there info that i have here on these postings that would cause that any other way to remedy this

hi ron, actually only found couple docs (individual) other folders and docs are not here or somewhere can not find ( still think quarantined) o anyways since sunday unable to get into email on hotmail again or gmx again from my internet explorer this is same exact thing as thought was cleared up, except that noticed the "ads" that are showing up on all places look like they are tracking ones - eg i went did search for something and then exact same thing shows up in these" ads' last several days and still have that fake google folder with internet explorer quite aggravating

hi ron i just managed to finally move that downloads doc file out of favorites and into c- users- syd(admin)- downloads and so can now move them into docs or keep in downloads as proper will have to work on that post you just said either friday aftn or later wknd will update you thank you much, have good nite, day

only for few folders some of them ( like 3 or four thats all)are in the ie bar favorites folders like i said, and the esword install, the malware bytes install - how they got into ie ???? and i attempted t export showed up as shortcuts to ie so not able to get them open after i ran that log my volume icon on taskbar dissappeared i think they are in that installgoogle folder or quarantined under the rogue folders for chrome or google or one of them so does that mean they are gone gone?
