  1. Hi, I have just found these forums and have a severe problem with Malwarebytes and Nexus 7 2013. Today I noticed that the battery was draining to flat in about four hours and the problem turned out to be Malwarebytes. I shut down, recharged and the same thing happened. I started a scan which seemed to go as usual until after 54 seconds it all hung. The problem file(s) are /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.laminar...fault/files/xplane_default_ati_9_75_0.zip. The app seems to continue scanning this file but never (I left it for about 15 minutes) completes this scan. Lokking at the files being scanned reveals "sdcard" which the Nexus does not have....could this be the problem? The only way out is to stop the app. Uninstalling Malwarebytes returns battery drain to minimal. I redownloaded, installed and tried again in case to app had been updated. No difference. I have fully uninstalled the app and the battery drain is almost nil. I have used the paid edition of Mbam on my PC for several years and have been very pleased. I also use it on my old Galaxy S2 where it works and scans perfectly, including the SDcard which is fitted. I will be most grateful for any help provided.
